I liked Season 2 of Hot D. And calling it AGOT Season 8 is... no? Have you seen Season 8? No? Go watch Glidus Pisstakes about Season 8 on Youtube. Yes? Do you remember it? It was a brainless mess.

Season 2 does a lot. Its setting up plots, that i know because i read the book. It also is something that i havnt seen on a show in a long time. It doesnt focus on battle, it focuses on the personal. We have the relshenship beteen Deamon and Rheanyra. We get Jace growing up and becoming more like his stepdad-uncle-fahter in law Deamon Targaryen the Rouge Prince. We get Baela which is always good. Now do i Support every decision they made? No. First out of the order i am not upset about Nettles, where is she? I guess she wont be a thing in the show. And then of course Alicent, I dont love it what they have done with her but i understand it. Why do i understand it? Well we have seen Alicent not really being into being a human baking machine. Have we ever seen her loving her children? Aegon? No, i think she might actully hate him. Aemond? Meh? maybe, but after seeing all the chaos and death he has created, i am not so sure. Heleana? Yes she loves her and does what she thinks is the best for her to protect her daughter. So while i dont love it it makes sense for her charater.

The ending, many say that is boring and doesnt do anything and this enitre season did nothing. Have you seen Season 2??? From the battle of the Burning Mill to the Battle of Rooks rest, the Death of a girl boss, Aegon being Toast, Daemon going half insane in Harrenhall, Aemond being Prince Regent, Ulf and Hugh taming Silverwing and Vermithor, SILVERWING AND VERMITOR. THE HEALTHIST COUPLE OF PLANETOS! The 2nd and 3rd biggest dragon on planetos! Nothing Happened? I guess people are upset because it didnt end with a battle. Which is just... sigh.

Another point that i read was that season 2 ends like season 1 and no? It really doesnt Rheanyra is about to win. Who is there to oppse her right now? Aemond with Vhaegar, and Daeron with Tessarion who both (Daeron and his dragon) never have seen battle. So really in a dragon battle it would be Grandma Vheagar and teen Tessarion, against Grandpa Vermithor, Grandma Silverwing, Syrax, Caraxes, and Vermax. I am not counting Baela or the others dragon because of their size. Rhaenyra is at the edge of winning the war without loosing any more man. The thing she and Rheanys always wanted.

I could go on and on, about Corlys and so many other things but i think my point has come across.

Season 8 of game of thrones was bad because no one cared about it anymore, Season 2 is still ok because there are obviously people in the writers room who care... all we can hope for now is that they stay as loyal to the book as they can and that they continue to care.
