I'm still here. I don't always want to be, but here I am.
Being a widow sucks, every second of every day. Every time I learn something or remember something it breaks me. Honestly, I'm not doing well. I'm only holding on for the trial, who knows when that will be. I've learned such disturbing things about why Ryan was allowed to be taken that have shaken my already miniscule faith in people. I've endured enormous indignities. I've struggled with something else that I can't even share with most of the people I know. I'm in hell. I'm here, though, I guess. I have no creativity, no initiative, no desire, no hope. But I'm here. I guess that's an update.
#me#my face#i dont know what the point of this is#hi i guess#this is honest and unpleasant but#im proud of myself for not having lost my sanity yet#my braclet has a picture of us on our wedding day#if you shine light on it correctly

Hey all. I've been asked about where to send flowers/etc. There's the gofundme to help with expenses, but I also wanted to suggest making a donation to Full Cycle in Ryan's memory. Ryan was *so* into all things bike - tinkering, rebuilding, riding. He was planning on getting a cheap, broken bike to fix up and donate, so in the spirit of his giving nature, we've chosen a bike place who also mentors and gives back to youths in need.

Thanks! 💕

As some of you may know, I recently lost my husband in a very tragic and violent way. Our family has been amazing through all of this, and they’ve set up a GoFundMe to cover some of the expenses. Please, don’t feel obligated to donate - it would warm my heart just to know that people are reading about what an amazing guy Ryan was - but people have been asking for a way to help, so here it is.
I love all of you. Please hold your loved ones a little closer. for me.

It's no secret that I've been working on a project I don't want to show quite yet. I've been painting a lot! It feels amazing. Ordered some GSW paints to try out, and they just got here - will post thoughts later.

I got the .15 mm edition, which is proooobably overboard and is the cause of me having to keep stopping to clean the thing, but holy wow. I'm so so impressed. The nozzle is a big, solid piece, the paint cup comes off for easy cleaning - it's just so sleek and sturdy. And! The precision on this thing is insane. I was literally just making little loops on the paper towel for a bit out of amusement.
With the HP-C Plus, I had to be content with getting a base coat and maybe shading (as long as it was a large area), then switching to manually painting the rest. With this, I can see myself switching back and forth from airbrush to hairbrush, and getting a lot of the shading out of the way with just the airbrush.
Anyway, it might be too early for me to say "go for it" with confidence, but I'm very impressed so far! I can't think of any real negatives, just lots of positives.
I got a new airbrush (Harder & Steenbeck Infinity CR Plus) and it's AMAZING except for two things:
1. I hate airbrushing
2. It's got a tiny nozzle so you have to at least brush the dried paint off of it quite often
But holy moly, the detail one can get is incredible, and the quality of its parts is so much higher than my Iwata HP-C plus.

This took a really long time and a LOT of paint. I'm not happy with some bits, but I think it's kinda cool! Unsure of which orientation I like best.

Look him rump.
Long time!
In the midst of working on a Moonkin model (from WoW), and let me just say that freehanding all of these feathers has been a task. I hope the gift goes over well!
