And when you watch her watching David explain the reason why, you can just see her respect and admiration for David Tennant rise with every word he has to say about Jodie Whitaker taking on that role. This interview just came to show how much David Tennant respects his female costars and fellow actors throughout the industry, especially those he has worked with in the past, present, and will sometime in the future.

Nothing will cure this heartache I’ve felt. No one understands what they mean to me. I know that everything must come to an end. And I know that their career isn’t over, but it is as a group. And yes I’ve seen them but I blocked out that memory because it was the wrong situation. I don’t remember how I felt, everything is just gone. (The only thing I remember is is my ex protecting me from the mosh pit that formed next to us when All That Remains was on stage. I laughed.) That’s why I would do absolutely anything to see them again, but sadly it won’t happen and it’s the worst feeling in the world. August 25th will be four years since I’ve seen them. My first and last time and I remember none of it 😢
