I have a question for you

Is there still anyone with a compassionate heart who can hear our silent cries? Is there still someone in this world with a shred of humanity, wondering how we are surviving right now? If you are one of them, please don’t turn away… reach out, take action, do whatever you can to save me and my family from death and hunger. Death is drawing closer with heavy steps… hunger has torn through us, and our bodies have withered like autumn leaves.

I cannot put into words how much I Fucking Loathe the fact that when you search something on youtube now it will randomly intersperse blocks of "people also watched" and "for you" into the results. That's not what I searched for, youtube. I typed in a search query because I wanted to see search results, not random unrelated garbage you have placed in my way apparently to either inconvenience me or force me to scroll further for actual results. I despise your wretched little games and every time I see it I can only instantly close the tab as I am overcome with the urge to burn something down.

We survived once again… I don’t know for how much longer, but for now, we are still alive.

The night was unbearably hard — the bombing never stopped for a single moment, and the sound of the explosions filled our hearts with fear.

My children couldn’t close their eyes from terror; they spent the night in my arms, trembling, while the sky rained fire above our heads.

In just eight hours… more than 40 souls departed, martyrs ascending to the heavens, while we remain here, counting our breaths and trying to hold on.

while i was away a 300 dollar autopay bill overdrafted my account and my bank just charged me overdraft fees for a week straight without telling me. then my rent payment bounced. and i got this eviction notice today. i'm 1700 in the hole so i would say i'm not having a good time right now

this is just where i'm at as of writing. my bank is going to charge even more overdraft fees soon & theres also going to be late fees on my other bills this month

my next paycheck is later this week but it's going to be ~400. idk the horrors are neverending. i am doing my best but anything at all helps

YouTube is implementing an AI policy that tracks your watch history and determines your age with it. The only way to be able to continue watching the videos you want on YouTube if you've been falsley flagged as a minor by their AI is to give YouTube your government ID. This is being implemented in the US right now. It is essential to rage against this and put YouTube in the fucking ground if they continue with it—that may be the only way to make them backtrack. But damn isn't that hard to do when responding to this announcement with a polite but negative comment flags you for violating community guidelines and bans you from even posting it?

Israeli officials are consulting on a major plan to occupy the entire Gaza Strip, knowing that the Israeli occupation today occupies more than 75% of the Gaza Strip, as we are prohibited from going to the areas where our homes were after they were destroyed and completely occupied. According to the Israeli Channel 12, civilian companies were demolishing the homes. For each home that was demolished, the company takes $1,500 for each home that was demolished. Imagine that more than 20,000 housing units have been demolished and more, and they are still demolishing homes.

Sometimes it is quite depressing to be on Tumblr. I recently had to block another account saying shit like 'Gaza deserves to be bombed' on a Gazan's post saying how the children have not eaten anything for days. There are so many Palestinians asking for support because they are literally starving to death and yet the majority of blogs here wouldn't even share a fundraiser post. These donations to families in Gaza are literally life-saving! And when they are asked to share these posts, they just ignore them because they don't think these fundraisers are 'trustworthy enough'. Ok, some of you are asking how the fundraisers are vetted out of genuine concern for Palestinians in Gaza, I understand and I'm always happy to provide info on how fundraisers on Tumblr are vetted (x, x, x, x, x, x), but so many of you are using this as an excuse to make yourself feel better about ignoring starving Palestinians being killed and not helping them.

Ibrahim (@aburakhiaibrahim) is starving. His family consists of 28 people and there is no food for them to eat. Yesterday he tried to get the food from the airdrop, but because the aid landed very close to the army, he couldn't go and get the food or else he would be killed. They could only turn to the markets for food, which is very expensive. I am asking you to please help. Donate if you can, if not, please at least share his fundraiser so that it may reach someone who can donate.

Activists from 44 countries plan to launch the largest civilian flotilla in history at the end of August in an effort to break Israel’s siege on Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid to the starving population of the enclave.

The Global Sumud Flotilla, along with three allied initiatives, will send dozens of boats from Spanish ports on 31 August and Tunisian ports on 4 September, aiming to establish a humanitarian corridor and confront what organizers call Israel’s genocide against Palestinians.

“This summer, dozens of boats, both large and small, will set sail from ports across the world, converging on Gaza in the largest civilian flotilla of its kind in history,” said organizer Haifa Mansouri at a press conference in Tunis hosted by the Joint Action Coordination for Palestine.

The mission brings together four groups: the Maghreb Sumud Flotilla, the Global Movement to Gaza, the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, and Sumud Nusantara.
