to put my two cents into the superfetation conversation (not something I'd ever thought I'd say), it's extremely rare in humans, and the few cases we have of it aren't certain of superfetation being the cause. but also dol isn't exactly known for its scientific accuracy, so who's to say ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have so many thoughts on how dol's irl scientific inaccuracies mean that the rules of science are entirely different in the dolverse.

You’re talking to someone who is asking how a non Catholic character can have Catholic guilt. We are making it serious. I can’t believe the implication that DOL-verse is different than the real world because superfetation, while extremely rare, is possible in our world and impossible in DOL-verse.

Sydney IS catholic. Because Catholicism in the dolverse is an alternate version of irl Catholicism. Similar but different religions sharing the same name.

Superfetation is a real thing, but you know Sydney wouldn’t be thinking about that when asking you to impregnate them while they are already pregnant. You can keep calling them the dumbest smart person.

It's sort of 50/50 for me tbh.

Sydney might not know about superfetation since science is their worst subject.

But their parent is still Sirris, who is a science teacher, so they might have heard of it before.

BUT Sydney also seems like the type to study up on pregnancy if they or their beloved ever did become pregnant.
