“Quiet, someone’s here” Kakuzu signalled for everyone to get low.

*FLASHBACK *

Back in the Akatsuki hideout.. Pain had gone off for a mission with Konan, heading towards Amegakure. He told the others to have some time off or until they get back. It’s been awfully quiet missions wise, which bored the hell out of some of the members, particularly Tobi and Hidan. The only order given to them was to stay inside and not to cause a scene or go out killing, which of course displeases the Jashinist. They needed to keep their profile low for some time.

You would think that Kakuzu would be pissed at this, however 2 days ago he had collected plenty of bounties meaning he had more than enough money to count, keeping him occupied in his room; in silence.

“Deidara-san can’t we do something?!” Tobi pleaded. “I’m not your babysitter Tobi” Deidara mumbled whilst watching TV beside Kisame and Itachi. Tobi sprawls himself onto the floor in front of the others groaning in boredom kicking his legs up and down. Itachi paid no attention, quietly reading to himself nibbling on his dango. “Just shut up Tobi and get yourself a hobby, why don’t you let me sacrifice you? If I can’t go outside, why not have you volunteer yourself to me?” Tobi freezes, sweat drops multiplying from his face/mask. Within a flash he is no where to be seen, must of ran into his room hiding. Hidan chuckles loudly to himself whilst polishing his scythe at the table.

Sasori emerges into the living sighing “What’s Tobi crying about this time?” sounding unamused as always, probably not caring about the answer anyway. “It’s Tobi” Kisame said. “Good Point” Sasori brings out Hiruko to start working on, fixing the damages from a previous battle opposite Hidan at the table.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

*Sigh* “Come in” Kakuzu snapped, losing count of his money. A scowl grows across his face noticing who it is, as much as he tolerates Tobi, he knows he is up to something. “Whatcha doing Kakuzu? Can I join?” “No.” “Oh come on Mr Grouch - -“ Tobi stops after hearing Kakuzu growl at his remark. A nervous giggle comes out of Tobi whilst he flaps his arm up and down towards Kakuzu bowing slightly to apologise. Kakuzu continues to count his money, flicking through the notes, ignoring Tobi whilst he sits kicking his legs on the edge of the bed. Tobi’s eyes were caught on a treasure chest Kakuzu had found the other week, not opening and organising its contents yet. The orange masked man slithers down the bed and onto the floor like a snake, hoping Kakuzu won’t notice. Tobi giggles. “Don’t even think about - - “ Tobi teleported out of the room, along with the chest before Kakuzu could even finish his sentence. The masked undead man slaps the table loudly and storms out the room.

“If I catch you, I will kill you!” Everyone’s eyes dart towards the pounding footsteps heading towards their direction, even Zetsu heard this and emerged through the floor “What’s all the noise for?!” Kakuzu’s eyes scan around the room, lifting the sofa up that Itachi, Deidara and Kisame are still sitting on, flipping the table Sasori and Hidan are seated at. “Watch it gramps!” Hidan yelled. Kakuzu narrows his eyes at Hidan for the comment. “Teehehehehehe~” a childish giggle was heard from the Kitchen, everyone eyed up the pumpkin masked male dancing with the chest above his head. “Look what I found everyone! ~” Tobi sung in excitement. “You didn’t find it, you stole it” Kakuzu growled. “But Kakuzu looooook, something is glowing!” “Tobi I wouldn’t if I were you, if its gold or money..you know Kakuzu is going to punch you square in the face” Sasori groaned unamused picking up his tools from the ground. “Oh its not gold, its too light to be gold. Look though, its soooooo sparkly!! ~~” As Tobi opened the chest fully a giant beam of light filled the room, blinding everyone. Suddenly.. the room was empty, the only traces of the Akatsuki were Hidan’s scythe and Sasori’s puppet.
