When somebody ask me why I ship Aokise I'll show them this post
the kaijo vs touou game is just so emotional to me. what do you mean we know each other better than anyone else. what do you mean i want to win but i don’t want to watch you lose. what do you mean you are the reason i’m here i’ve always been chasing chasing chasing you. what do you mean in order to grow i have to let go of you. what do you mean i’ll stop following you. what do you mean i'm learning what it means to be apart of a team. what do you mean i'll let go of a part of me if it's what i have to do for the team that i believe in, the team that believes in me. what do you mean i broke myself for this win and i still lost. what do you mean i lost but for once i am not alone. what do you mean i can’t comfort you; there are no words i could say. what do you mean i can’t shake this soft spot for you. “i know you better than anyone else” and “didn’t you think it could work the other way around?” and “what i need to do for them and what i need to do now.”

Kise best boy
the thing with kise is that he's the absolute best friend ever
but he is also the possible worst enemy one could have
and you don't want to be on his bad side at all or you're done

completely going insane over this aomine and akashi moment where they're talking about nash and how akashi is going to be the one to face nash but he's saying that it will be difficult because nash has some strengths that restricts akashi's own
and then aomine disregarding akashi's comment that it will be a 'difficult match' and him agreeing nonchalantly that akashi should be the one to face nash afterall regardless of how strong this nash person is
and then aomine fucking said this
"if it's you, you'll definitely win."
heavily implying that he trusts akashi being against nash and that he just believes that akashi can do it no matter what happens
and THEN
akashi's soft smile when aomine showed his trust towards him albeit aomine did it in the most nonchalant way possible but akashi himself knew that it was the dark blue haired boy's way of showing how much he just believe in the red haired boy
and the small smile showed how relieved akashi is with aomine's comment because god as much as akashi is a really great basketball player and despite the others already knowing he is a strong opponent, somehow in a way, akashi is still doubting himself but his friends, his irreplaceable friends, are always going to be there to remind him that he is capable of anything and everything
#Please this scene is sooo pure#Like we don't talk enough about Akashi and Aomine friendship#kuroko no basket#knb

I agree with everything you said and that's why I love knb so much.
okay we all have that show or movie that we watch and it just brings us alot of emotions and once we finish it, we wish that we can watch it again for the first time because it was amazing or that we want to feel the same thing again but it just doesn't hit like the first time like it just doesnt feel the same
but with kuroko no basuke...... its entirely something different
the first time watching knb, you'd feel excited because there are going to be many amazing scenes of the characters playing basketball. you'd see kagami wanting to be the strongest player in japan and have this little blue haired boy be his partner (see screenshots below). you'll see this team that's just starting off and wanting to be the #1 basketball team in Japan. you'd expect kagami that he will become the most amazing player in the end and besides that, there's an amazing plot that you still haven't fully comprehend yet but you can't wait to know what happened— especially with kuroko and his relationship with the generation of miracles. but as you continue watching, you're slowly seeing that there's something more about kuroko and the generation of miracles and it just intrigues you but then at the same time, you're still rooting for seirin and kagami to beat all of the miracles in their games. for seirin/kagami, its all about just being the best team/player in all of Japan and you'd think that it's the same for kuroko but then at the end, you'll know that it isnt. you'll learn as to why exactly kuroko is doing this and why the miracles are always bothering him or treating him special. and then you'd understand why they're all the way they are.
that's most likely how everyone feels watching kuroko no basuke for the first time (or maybe its just me but anyways)
watching knb for the second time, god... its like watching a whole new show all over again because every action, every decision, and every interaction with all of the members of the generation of miracles together and with kuroko, has an entire new meaning. for example that park scene where you'd see kise talking to kuroko like you thought at first that kise's being a bitch or annoying bc he told kuroko that kagami will eventually drop kuroko once kagami realizes that he is weak or that kagami will get stronger but then watching it for the second time you'd actually realize that he's concerned for kuroko and maybe even feeling guilty because its what he, they, did to him. you'd realize the significance of the tiniest of actions that you overlooked before when you watched it for the first time. you'd realize how fucking important kagami is to all of them, especially to kuroko. like kuroko wasn't lying when he said that he is grateful to have met kagami (see screenshot below) and kagami, that dumb basketball idiot, is just so oblivious to how much he actually helped all of them. how he, dare i say, saved all of them. because him saving kuroko, got kuroko saving the miracles and the miracles, especially aomine, knows it and as much as aomine hates to admit it, he's saved by kagami the most.
watching kuroko no basuke for the first time, you're seeing it in kagami's point of view, where you're clueless about everything except to just basketball games and playing with your team that turned into friendship which eventually turns into family
but watching the show for the second time, you're going to see it in kuroko/generation of miracles' point of view, where you'll be seeing friends, who were once a family, went into their own individual paths but is somewhat desperate to find their ways together again, to fix what they have broken, but having no idea where to start, that is until kagami arrived in all their lives.
the same show, the same series, the same games
but two different stories

Forever reblogging this because Kise is an amazing character and has one of the best development in the anime
Baby boy deserve much better🥰🥰
I SAW A POST BADMOUTHING KISE
so i’m here to rant good things about my boy because i’m mad and salty.
Kise is the most loyal one out of the Generation of MIracles. He tries to keep in contact with them even after their falling out. Maybe not so much Akashi, but that’s fair. Akashi definitely puts out the vibes that he doesn’t want any interaction with the rest of them unless absolutely necessary.
Kise loves his friends so much. As evident by how he reacts when Kuroko rejects his offer to play for Kaijo with him, and when he calls Midorima to get the rolly pencil for his finals and how excited he is to talk with him. Sure he’s kind of a jerk to people at first, but honestly i don’t trust people at first either so i’m guarded too.
He is definitely the most manageable of the Generation of Miracles and Kaijo was lucky to get him. He’s a bit cocky at first, but Kasamatsu puts him in his place as a first year right away.
HE!!! LOVES!!! HIS!!!! TEAM!!!!!!!!!! SO!!!!! MUCH!!!!!!! DO ANY OF THE OTHER MIRACLES ACTUALLY SAY THAT THEY LOVE THEIR TEAMS???? NO!!!!!!!
Kise’s observation skills are through the roof and even if it is called “Perfect Copy” he’s not copying the Generation of Miracles exactly. He makes his own adjustments to adapt to how he can use their moves. (And Riko points this out.)
All of the Kaijo team members trust and believe in Kise so much. EVEN THE COACH!!!!!! He literally said, in the game against Touou, that he would still choose Kise if he had a choice between him and Aomine. And Hayakawa knew that Kise had been running on their days off. And Moriyama said that he believed in Kise and always had. Kaijo 10000/10 school, would recommend.
Kise works his ass off to get better. Yes, when he was in Teiko he slacked off after they started winning (they didn’t show this in the anime which i’m kinda mad about) and he got bored with basketball again, so he started modeling instead of going to practice. But after he goes to Kaijo and loses against Aomine again, he literally works so hard that his injury doesn’t heal properly. An idiot move, and not even admirable, but it does show his dedication to wanting to win with his team.
Kise’s basketball prowess is noted as the best MULTIPLE TIMES by MULTIPLE CHARACTERS in canon. Kiyoshi said it when they were seeing Perfect Copy for the first time, Riko said it during Last Game when Kise was in the Zone.
