In Kohaku Aoki's lore. She is very good with machines. She can repair machines and herself as long as there are materials and tools nearby. She can self diagnose herself and a machine for problems and then can either proceed with telling someone about the problem or dealing with it herself. This is very helpful to her fellow androids and robots when they got in trouble.

To balance that feature of her, her creator installed an "Emergency mode" in her AI that prioritizes the safety of humans and herself along with robotkind so she can now also do basic first aid (cpr is out of the question because she doesn't breathe), analyze the nearest exit and the probability of survival of herself and a human victim and call for help.

When meeting Galvan Ize however puzzled her, because he is registered as a robot or a machine when her eyes scanned him and yet she sees a human. Things became even more weird she met Denki Sai because of his monitor head and flesh body. In the end, she figured that Denki and Galvan is the same person she just decided to play along and not tell what she knows.

Another interesting thing that my headcannon for Galvan is that, he avoids letting people touch his back or the back of his head because people can actually feel the jacks or the jack sockets attached to his back. So to avoid that, he wore jackets with hoodies to hide them along with more layered clothing.

One of my baseless, inconsequential headcanons is that, after accepting the deal and trading his soul, Galvan has a large vertical vivisection scar— both from the process of replacing his internal mechanisms with machinery and the metaphysical effects of having your soul ripped from your body.

Anyways, Fun facts about Kohaku Aoki (A002)!!!

1. The reason why she waves at you (or the camera), greets you when you clicked the button "sample" in utau, and introduces herself in the description, because my original plan with her is to become a fourth wall breaking character but I started to scrap the idea. I will keep that thing though with her future voicebanks because it's fun ^^

2. The naming of her voicebanks, Awakening and Upgrade is not just a name choice but is tied to her lore. The name, Awakening, for her 1st CV voicebank, because it is her first ever voicebank to ever exist, which means she just "woke up" for the the first time ever. The name, Upgrade, for her VCV because it is indeed an upgrade of her voice.

Her future RVC voicebank that I haven't released yet but had a teaser, will probably named "Mimicry" because in RVC she can copy how the original singer sang the song. Same with her future English vb which will be named, "Translate or Transcribe". Her multipitch however will in a different format.

3. The idea for the number A002 was created from the amount of takes I had when creating her voicebank which is just 2 takes 😅 and the letter "A" for her last name, Aoki.

Fun fact: I wanted to make a small blooper about behind the scenes during their cover of Happy Synthesizer, but I wanted to wait a little while before actually uploading it. The blopper includes them twirling around the stage in a ballet pose and going "Okay, let's spin!! aaaAAAaaaaaAAAA~" while the song is playing in the background. Or Denki Sai making a witty joke about the song while Kohaku is like o_O?
