How To Actually Fight For Net Neutrality
There’s a lot of big, wordy articles going around tumblr right now, and they’re all great. But I wanted to make a mastpost of sorts of all the actions you can take and sites/bots that are here to help.
battleforthenet - The main hub for all things net neutrality. Fill out a form in seconds to e-mail your rep, or enter your phone number and a prerecorded message will call you, tell you exactly what to do and provide a script before connecting you with your representative. You can also set up a daily call.
Verizon Protests - Protests are happening at Verizon stores across the country on Dec 14th.
5 calls - This site is my favorite for calls. They provide a script and directions for calling the FCC, senators, and local state rep.
Resistbot - A phenominal service for those who cannot call, this bot will contact your rep on your behalf. However, every time I try to use it, they are busy.
Many of you are hitting the same roadblock I am: Mailboxes are full. So what do we do at that point? We send letters. Go to WhoIsMyRepresentative.com and enter your zip code to find addresses for your senators and house reps. You can use the phone script from the sites above, or compose your own note, or simply write “I am your constituent and I want you to fight to keep net neutrality.”
I know a lot of this is very overwhelming and hopefully this makes things easy and straightforward. You can send an e-mail, make 4 phone calls, and write a letter in less than 10 minutes. Please take the time to do so.

Please watch to the end and reblog this video for turtle and tortoise care awareness. These babies were taken from a street vendor who was selling them in awful conditions. He also probably stole them from the wild.
Adopt don’t shop!
Also follow Taylor on Youtube to help her channel grow so she can spread more awareness on these issues. If you remember the tiny cheering hedgehog, that was her hedgehog Nala. She also does pet feeding, animal care videos, and generally funny stuff.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR WHAT’S CURRENTLY HAPPENING IN TRUMP’S AMERICA: a lot of unwarranted raids are happening across the U.S right now. The latest states that have been targeted by this massive sweep is California, Arizona, Texas, and now Georgia. Over 100 people have been detained, most likely without a warrant. And before someone says “they’re just keeping the criminals out!1!”, lawyers who were able to consult some of the people detained did not have a criminal record. There have also been reports of officers trailing kids walking home from school to lead to their parents.  These officers DO NOT. HAVE. THE RIGHT. TO DETAIN PEOPLE. WITHOUT. A WARRANT.
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AND DON’T FORGET TO #RESIST

A few weeks ago I came across some frog spawn in my pond which of course was nice but I noticed it was, well empty just the gel shell was there.
This really bugged me so one night I ended up sneaking out at night like I always do to search for toads and could observe that some newts were eating the spawn (which was a surprise, to have actual newts and even far over ten of them in my pond) and the little tadpoles that tried to escape didn’t make it more then ten centimeters without being eaten. So naturally I felt responsible (I mean I know their dad…) and decided to save the leftovers.
I set them up in a big bucket  and tried to learn everything about keeping tadpoles.
They aren’t crowded get daily water changes have an air pump for about two hours a day, have hides, get fresh salad, algae and sometimes fish food.
I tried my best but some have died mostly the smallest ones. I hope I do everything right and if someone knows anything I could update on my housing conditions just tell me please.
But anyway it’s not all bad, the rest is doing great they eat, they swim, they hide and get (a lot) bigger everyday. And hopefully when they morphed I can get some good frog baby shoots of them! So stay tuned I guess?
