Kintsugi Gospel Series_ Poster 1 "Perfect Vessel" Isaiah 53:3 Kintsugi is the Japanese term for restoring broken pottery with gold lacquer. This uses the unfortunate breakage as an opportunity to accentuate the vessels beauty. I couldn't help but notice the striking resemblance to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Despite our broken and sinful nature, God is still willing to utilize us for His Holy purpose. "To live is Christ and to die is gain" (Phillipians 1:21) The glory of the Ressurection would not be complete without Christ first dying. In the same way we are to die to our sinful nature, so that God's divine nature can not only piece together our brokeness, but also show others it's possible. Jesus Bless
