A powerful storm known as a “bomb cyclone” is sweeping across the northwest USA and Canada today, downing trees and power lines with wind gusts over 70 mph. The storm is carrying an atmospheric river of moisture, which could trigger flooding and mudslides, and will bring heavy snow to higher elevations. Early Wednesday morning, more than 800,000 homes and businesses from Northern California to British Columbia had lost power.

“Last of the 9-inch angle grinders. It's a piece of history. Be a shame ta crack the cutoff wheel.”
A Masscom Salvage Corps worker displays their tools, kit, and the fruits of their labor: usable metal stock to further Masscom’s re-industrialization efforts, 2079 - In retrospect this design I started in 2020 is illogical. Angle grinder cutoff wheels are consumed far too quickly to be viable in any sort of long term post-manufacturing setting.
