— 06/06/2019 • 2:47am thoughts 💎 a diamond in the rough, someone (or something) that has hidden exceptional characteristics and/or future potential, but currently lacks the final touches that would make them (or it) truly stand out from the crowd. i guess we all live as diamond in the rough, struggling to be the better versions of ourselves amidst the unfortunate factors that would challenge your skills and potentials. diamonds aren’t made overnight, it is made under pressures of earth then have to go through millions of rough patches just to get into its natural and beautiful state.. just as how human progress into something great, we would have to strive through rough situations to be the best versions of ourselves. we are diamonds who are meant to stand out no matter how rough the situation may be. we are resilient and made under pressure, we are valuable even in our hard times. — k.d 💫🌟✨
