Jonathan simply smiled at the mischievousness of the omega and waited for him. Once Grim was back he walked with him towards his apartment. "My apartment is nothing special, I haven't decorated it much and I like to keep just the basics in it." He told the other to make some conversation as they walked. "But I recently bought some kitchen gadgets to use in my cooking adventures. The grill in the backyard is used by the entire building though people rarely use it by themselves."
As they arrived rather quickly at his apartment building, the alpha guided the other to his door and unlocked it letting him go in first. The curtains were all drawn and sunlight illuminated the place. "Want to check the recipes and choose one together?" He offered Grim as he closed the door and placed the books on a small dining table.
He sat at the same table and opened one of the books looking through some of the recipes.
Grim took a large inhale of air as the other walked away from him and he was tempted to slap himself. Exhaling a plume of condensation, his breath much colder than the air around them, he sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. Why was he such a whore? He knew as soon as the other walked back he was going to lean in again and go along with it. At least this alpha didn't seem so bad. Nothing like the trumped up ones that thought he should wear an apron and cook and make house.
God forbid have babies. Grim was sure if he got pregnant he would commit hate crimes. As Jonathan joined him again he did in fact lean into the other man and the hand on his lower back. "Let's. But let me go unplug the fridge in the break room first because the other guys in shift are bitches." he said before popping into the back and sowing his mischief.
"OK all ready to go."

Jonathan didn't want to pull his hand away just yet, but he knew that if they wanted to get moving he needed to go pay for these books and then escort Grim out to his building. Nothing in this town was far so rarely anyone used cars. "Maybe it is," he shrugged with a smile pulling away his hand. "I'll go pay for these and we'll go to my place, alright?"
He walked away to the cashier and placed his items down to be scanned. He paid quickly and returned to Grim's side. "Shall we?" He asked with a smile on his lips and a hand on his lower back. Maybe he shouldn't place his hand there, but he was compelled to do so.
"That would be pretty funny and coincidental if you were. A vampire under the blood moon. How would that even pan out? I can't imagine well. Probably funny though. Blood bath." Grim laughed and scratched his chin with a shrug of his shoulders. A habit he had when he didn't know what to say. He was so used to being just plain obstinate and rude to alphas who gave it back in kind, but this man disarmed him with being reasonable.
Grim would kick himself later for leaning into that warm hand but in the moment he would decide to let it slide. "That sounds like it could be a lot of fun really. Burning things or making food. Whatever ends up happening." he said with a little smile. "Batman is hot that's the whole tall dark and handsome thing."

He chuckled. "Hungry for blood? I'm not a vampire," he teased him. "Well, Grim, my last name is Tyrese... not exactly original either." He had always found it funny how his last name literally screamed I'm not exactly human to the hunters and they were so stupid they hadn't caught on to him yet.
He smiled when he saw him nuzzle his hand. So receptive. "If you are sure you wouldn't be missed here, you could come along with me and we could try our hand at cooking together. Maybe we'll be decent, maybe we'll burn a thing or two." He shrugged. "I don't worry, I know all the safety measures." He's teasing again of course.
"Batman?" He smiled, a little darkly. "No, nothing like that. But I appreciate it. Bruce Wayne has always been described as hot."
"So aren't you supposed to be all scary and like. Hungry for blood and stuff?" he asked with a little tilt of his head as he breathed in the way the other smelled more, letting it fill his nose and his head. "I'm Grim. My parents are really funny as you can tell from my name." he said with a little laugh of his own. "I get off in like an hour. I mean. I can leave now. All I do is keep the inventory straight, I don't take any money or anything it's all free." he said with a little shrug. He canted his face into the hand that held it, nice and warm.
"I could cook with you...I can't promise I'll be good but I can try." he said with a little nuzzle of his cheek in Jonathan's palm. "You have this like dark broody hot thing going on you know? Are you Batman?"

He noticed the boy moving closer, probably to be able to smell him better, but he didn't mind. In fact, he smiled at him instead. "Ice moon, eh? I'm Blood Moon. My name's Jonathan, by the way," he remembered they hadn't introduced each other until now. "How about this. Tell me what time you leave work and I'll pick you up? I can bring you something to eat from what I made from this and get your opinion or we can make something together." He had placed both books in one of his hands so he could move his free hand and cup his face.
His skin was soft and inviting. Jonathan was clearly flirting with the other two. Nothing against that and if the other pulled away he wouldn't force it either, but he had a feeling this man did want him or at least liked him.
Grim made the note in his mind that this guy, he was pretty punk rock, doing what he wanted when he wanted without regard for how others may view him. Even better he wasn't imposing those views on others. If only he had parents like this. Though he wasn't sure how he would feel about thinking his parents were hot like he did this alpha. Though he did his best not to stare at the dark haired rider, even if thoughts of riding were going through his mind and they had nothing to do with finding anyone at all.
"Well if we set things on fire I can be useful. Ice Moon I can flash freeze stuff." he said with a little laugh of his own sliding a bit closer to the alpha, it couldn't hurt to take a little sniff, and enjoy just a handsome and progressive man. "That's super cool and shit. You go out and like make stuff right for people. Help them." Grim had never helped anyone if he wasn't paid in kind, and wondered what it was like to just do it to do it.

He could see the shock in his face. Not a surprising reaction, he got it all the time from omegas whenever they learned he did something most alphas wouldn't be caught dead doing. He liked to live his life however he wanted and that often meant outside of society's norms. He would respect you if you respected him, that simple.
"A terrible cook? We could learn together," he proposed. "Who knows, we could burn the building together," he joked laughing a little. "Being a Rider is... tough. We go out there looking for travelers from another time and sometimes they are easy to find while some others they are in trouble and we have to bail them out of it somehow. The hunters don't make our job easier either, so it's dangerous. However, seeing family reunite is very gratifying."
"It's not for everyone and it involves a lot of logistics too. Is not only about going out there blind, you know. We also try not to go too far, if we have to then we usually go in groups."
Grim looked at the Alpha trying to see if the other was fucking with him, he was always a but shocked when he was confronted by the progressive kind of Alphas. The ones who didn't think he was put on this earth to serve them. Growing up Grim's Alpha Father had wanted nothing more than to have an Alpha son, he had doted on Grim every second of every day, gotten him every toy. Treated him like a little prince. Until his second gender awakened. Until the moment I t came he was nothing but an omega. The one thing he had learned his entire life it was lesser to be.
It was after that, the lessons on how to live were changed from being in charge, the idea he could be anything to the idea that he was nothing but a domestic. He should learn to cook and clean, look after pups and be a housebound spouse to a rich powerful Alpha his family picked. He had lost everything when his second gender awakened including the love of his parents.
“That is…really really cool of you. I'm a terrible cook anyway. So you're a rider? What is that like? I mean that's super interesting.”

The kid was cute, but he didn't want to tease him relentlessly over this and make him miserable; that wasn't nice. Besides, he could make him flustered in other ways. It's not like that's what he was after either, he was here for books, but flirting never killed anyone.
He paid attention to what he was saying, taking the books handed to him and eyeing them. Sure, he could learn how to use a grill. His apartment building had the space and some grills in the back. Then there was the 'Cooking Made Easy' book that made him chuckle for some reason. "These are enough for now," he tells him. At the question, he raised his head from the book. "No, just killing time. I'm not that old school to expect an omega to cook for me. Besides, I'm a Rider. I'm gone for months at a time, and I don't want to put anyone through that. Thank you for these."
“Ugh whatever. I'm not making this any better.” Grim silently cursed his friend and vowed to make them miserable for embarrassing him like this. The last thing he wanted was to seem like some horny weirdo to customers. While he didn't mind being seen as lazy or even sometimes rude, if the work gone done it was fine. He wasn't so sure how it would go over with him talking about his kinks at work with strangers though.
“Ok ok ok. Sometihng beginner friendly. Something to get you into the door with cooking. Um...well. This one is a book on how to use an outdoor grill. That seems kinda easy its's just fire. And this one says cooking made easy. So maybe this one.” Grim pulled them from the shelf and held them out to the other man with a confident smile. “So you trying to impress someone? My dad once told me no self respecting Alpha cooks, which is why he tried to make me do the cooking. I very promptly burned down the kitchen. I think it is super cash money you are cooking yourself. Very awesome.”

He chuckled at those words. It was cute how defensive the other one was about this, but he didn't continue to rile him up. "I'm sure you do," he says, noticing he was being examined, nothing new there, so he let him. He wasn't ashamed of himself, he knew he had a good physique and being looked at was always nice.
"I could use the internet, sure, but I'm old school. I like books," he says, shrugging his shoulders. "I'd like to start with easy stuff, I don't have anything in particular in mind, I just want to burn some time around before I get up outside again." He was planning to just give it to the neighbors after cooked.
“Ok first of all I never said there was anything wrong with having a foot kink. But I don't want guys thinking I am all bricked up measuring their feet. There are so many other things that get me hard while I am at work and it's not feet ok?” Grim said with a mixture of a pout and a scowl. As he said this though his eyes raked over the man before him, of course this guy had to hear him. Clearing his throat he straightened himself up.
“Cook book. Ok I think we have like. Maybe a few? Nothing crazy though. I mean I would suggest the internet.” Grim nodded before he moved to lead the other to the very small selection of cook books and magazines. Sometimes there were recipes in those as well. Grim himself did not cook, an active rebellion against the idea that an omega should be submissive, and domestic. That he should make a home.
“What kinda stuff you want to cook I guess?”

He raised an eyebrow as he heard a person nearby talking to his friends. Their conversation was... interesting, to say the least. He focused on finding the book he was looking for and tried to ignore the others. He wasn't looking for anything specific, but something basic and easy to follow.
The man he heard before walked in and he raised his head. "Jonathan," he told him. Being called sir still felt weird. "There's nothing wrong with having a kink, kid," he points out. He's not judging, he doesn't care what gets other's rocks off. There's plenty of weird kinks out there and a feet kink wasn't one of them. It was quite common, actually.
"But you can certainly help me. I'm looking for an easy to follow cooking book. I'm used to eating out, but want to try my hand at it recently. Something to kill time."
"It's not a fetish thing, I work in a shoe store. It's not weird it's not like I get hard measure dude's feet ok?" Grim grunted in deep frustration as one of his friends chided him about his job as they were coming back from break, Grim picked up shifts as a temp worker all over the mall, whoever was in need to hire him could have his expertise on tap at any given moment.
Coming back into the store he paused seeing a man he had seen before, perhaps in another store- maybe this one. He wasn't sure. "Hello there uh- sir? Can you I help you with anything? Sorry you had to hear me and my uh...friend. But I was being honest I don't get my rocks off here measuring feet I promise."

Jonathan laughed at Aldwin's assertiveness. Not many omegas were like that, but he found that the more they stayed in the city, some of them became more sure of themselves and became more confident like this. The crack in the sky just worried him more. If the barrier were to crack, they would all be in trouble, but especially the weak ones. Riders would be fine, he would be fine and maybe omegas like Aldwin would be fine too but humans would find out there was a hidden city there and chaos would still ensue.
He raised an eyebrow at Aldwin's job description just to chuckle with him at the end. "Alright, you had me for a minute. A masseuse, eh? I'm a full-time rider agent, as you probably know, but there are part-time agents as well." He considered his proposition and was about to decline, he was probably misaligned everywhere anyway, but something compelled him to extend his hand and smile. "Alright, do your stuff then."
"No. I insist." Many of them weren't used to assertive omegas. Hell, he barely knew what the hell these designations meant for the lack of his own interpersonal connections outside his former coven. To say adjustment wasn't difficult would've been a lie. And he wasn't wasting the energy being dishonest on that one. He slides into his seat and nests toward the back of his chair. His now blonde hair arranged to keep the lightly spritzed strands from sticking to his face. He settled in. Aldwin was a given name when his family finally found purpose for him. It was like a brooch pinned to his collar and he wore it proudly-- in their honor. "Well." Aldwin pauses, taking into account of their surrounding. It was as if he was going to give a top secret answer. He leans in just a bit and the hint of deviousness twinkled in his eyes. "I read auras. Do a little bit of tarot. Foretell futures~," His fingers even did a bit of fluttering to gesture mystery. Though, the facade fades with a darkened chuckle. "No. I am a masseuse. I use my physical talents and some metaphysical knowledge with some paranormal skills to bring wholeness and health to the body." It was easier to advertise massages as just that when some were a bit hesitant when mystical arcana was involved. "I could probably trace the lines of your palm and tell where you're misaligned."

With those words, he guided the man towards the cafe, making sure to keep him under the rain even if he didn't mind it. He had to do this at least and it was the gentleman thing to do anyway. As they walked, the man blurted out his name, and he smiled again. "Aldwin, right. Nice name," he said as he sheltered them both from the rain. "If you want to pay, I don't mind letting you pay, but I do have extra enough money to do it myself too. You are new here, after all, and I don't spend much of my money anyway."
They entered a small coffee shop, and he shook his umbrella, closed it, and put it in a rack with other umbrellas, though the place wasn't full at all. They chose a table and sat in front of each other. "What you do, Aldwin? What job do you have?" He began asking questions to know each other. He didn't have much friends; might as well make one, right?
The witch didn't take it personally. After learning of their responsibilities, he'd understand why it may've been a little bit of a task if one of their objectives were to remember every encounter and every name. He was thankful there wasn't something pressed upon impression as the gentle nudge was passed from Aldwin. Reassurance. He gained a little more traction with ease as he tries to attune himself to the present moment and not what could transpire around them at any given time. His eyes shift toward the moving cap of the umbrella as the gentle patters of drops seemed to muffle. Jonathan was kind enough to share. Though, he didn't exactly shy away from his connection with mother nature. "I don't mind the rain, but perhaps a morsel to nibble on would also be a nice departure from the building stress. Food always seems to quiet the noise of the mind." He smirks. Aldwin hadn't put much thought into straying away from the admissions of his past. Guilt was one hell of a pill to swallow. Especially when you're surviving as the last member of an entire lineage. He swallowed thickly as if it was a tangible thing. "Aldwin." He blurts, letting his eyes shift to meet the passing vehicles. "It's Aldwin." He nods. "And no worries about our tab. It's on me, this time."

Jonathan shook his hand and noticed the other was rather uncomfortable in a sense, so he didn't let his hand linger there. He pocketed his free hand and eyed the man, a smile tugging at his lips. "I remember you, but your name escapes me. I pull many people back into the city, and it's normal for me to forget names. Most Riders don't even remember some of the people they rescued, but I do. I remember every one of them. Just not the names, not always anyways." He explained, covering him with his umbrella so he wouldn't get more wet than he was already.
They were closer now that he was covering the other with his umbrella, and he eyed the blond with a soft smile on his lips. "I do remember helping you at the time, but you never told me what had you so upset. I understood, though, I was a stranger to you, and it seemed that whatever happened had been personal." He looked around. "There's a cafe nearby. Why don't we shelter from the rain there and have a chat? If you want, that is."
Aldwin was reluctant to enter the openness of the city. With the sudden surge of unfamiliar, unusual arcane energy that radiated from the crack in the barrier, he was certainly one of the ones that was on edge. He kept physical contact to a minimal, opting for less travelled side streets. Though to be honest, a small town was never one to have many choices. The choker clasped a little tighter to keep himself from having his own thoughts run away from himself. He was distracted with good reason. Scales were being shifted and so were lines. Jonathan. Uneasiness tugged at his brow as he chewed on the inside of his lip. He'd pull him from a crowd just upon the sound of his voice alone. How could he forget. "Forgive me." He musters from the depths of his own seeking eyes. They found Jonathan's hand, to which one would expect a shake. He swallowed thickly, afraid of what vibe he'd give the man. With so many of his own energies out of stability, he might've attuned to either lust or confusion. He took a deep breath, focusing on something suitable for reunion. "I was a bit...distracted." He'd offer a weak smile. "Has it been that long that you don't remember? You were probably the only anchor I had with reality at the time."

Starter for @aldxwood
Jonathan had a good memory, but he was a Rider Agent for New Haven, which meant meeting a lot of people all the time. Still, he could say with confidence that he remembered most people he met. Especially the ones that left an impression on him. During his free time, he would often walk around the city just to see the new faces settling in or to clear his mind. Today was one of those days that he was walking just to see the new faces settling in after everything going on. He stumbled upon a young man that he was sure he recognized, one of the men he had brought in himself. So, he approached.
“Hey, I brought you in, didn’t I? You were rather distraught when I found you,” Jonathan recalled. “I’m Jonathan,” he said to the other male, being as polite as possible and extending his free hand, it was a rainy day so his other hand was busy holding an umbrella. Still, he wasn’t sure how his greeting would go. People were on edge these days and with good reason. Something bad was happening, and the higher-ups were working double time to solve it.

Jonathan smiled at those words as he drove. It wasn't a long drive at all and he parked as close as he could, no need to look for a spot with a shadow during the night so going out on dates at night was a big advantage. He got out of the car and hurried to open James's door with a smile, he liked being a gentleman.
The sight was amazing! The lake was very quiet and peaceful, except for the splashes of some fish and the sound of nature all around them. "Want to eat first?" He asked. "I brought some fresh blood from the hospital or you can drink mine," he proposed. He was wearing only a t-shirt and shorts tonight as they were going to get in the water at some point.
"We could also go in the water first if you like and eat after," he added crowding him against the car a little bit so he could bend over and kiss him softly.
He couldn't help but feel the skip in his heart when his hand was taken, when it was then kissed. It made him blush, the gentleness of it all and how sweet he was with him. Something he didnt think he'd ever get used to it no matter how many times it was done. He was excited for their date, having been thinking about it nonstop for the past few days, spending any amount of time with him always made him giddy.
He would follow after him towards the car, helping him get their things into it before he got into the passenger seat himself. He would thank him for opening his door for him, once in the car he'd buckle up and wait for Jonathan to join him. The drive there wasn't a long one, though the town was small enough that getting anywhere really didn't take much time at all. "Me too, I'm always excited to spend any time with you, though." He answered honestly, looking forward to their time at the lake.

He chuckled with him, though he honestly didn't mind if the other ended up stealing his clothes because seeing him with them would be rewarding enough. His heart would swell every time he saw him with them, too, so he was seriously thinking about not allowing him to use his own clothes tonight.
He noticed the bag by the door, bent over to grab it, and turned halfway towards the car. "Come on, fun awaits us." He says, taking his hand to kiss it before letting it go to walk to the car and load it with the bag in the back seat with the rest of his own stuff. He then opened the door for him and waited for him to close his house and get in the car before closing the door and walking over to the pilot seat.
He turned on the car and began driving towards the lake, it wasn't far, but, yet again, nothing in this town was far. "I'm honestly excited to be going to the lake with you. I went the other day, and someone mentioned it's quite peaceful at night and beautiful," he says to make conversation.
He was thrilled to be seeing Jonathan again, it had felt like fate brought them together in the same club that fateful night. A night they spent the entirety of together, and then some the next day. From that moment on they've spoken and seen each other consistently. Something the young vampire hadn't expected, but was more than happy to have going. The relationship was still young though he felt it was strong regardless.
Jaime busied himself around his home trying to pick up where he could. Not wanting it to be too dirty for when Jonathan arrived, not that it was even all that messy to begin within. He made sure to throw on something that would be comfortable but also had him looking good. He went through several shirts before landing on the one that really got his attention. At the knock of the door he quickly left his room and made his way to the front door.
"Hi." He greeted, eyes roaming over his face before they dropped to the bag he was carrying. "Oh-- that is so kind, thank you." He said as he took the bag, the kiss was nice leaving him wanting more of it. "I'm ready." He said, having already made a small bag for himself that he left by the door. "If I wore them you might not get them back." He chuckled.
