why does viva la vida by coldplay always go so hard. i hear those opening strings and instantly im a cynical and mournful king walking through his overthrown kingdom like oh shit I totally did used to rule the world!!! I used to roll the dice and feel the fear in my enemies’ eyes but now im literally sweeping the streets I used to own!!!! idk what it is about this song but for some reason i can’t explain
that specific brand of vampire media that’s like “you’re a late 90s-early 00s vampire in a leather jacket and sunglasses in some sleazy underground goth club that’s playing electro industrial/aggrotech/goth rock music” ruined me on all other vamp media, I too want to be a vampire in a leather jacket & sunglasses in some sleazy underground goth club that’s playing electro industrial/aggrotech/goth rock music
Oh also I need everyone to be aware that the goblins weren’t cgi. They were short people in costume. The Goblin King also wasn’t cgi, it was a puppet manned by five people. Ncuti and Millie did not pre-record and then lip sync their parts of the Goblin Song, they had to sing to cardboard cutouts of the goblins as soon as the cameras started rolling. One of the goblins was played by the lady who plays Po in the Teletubbies. No Davina McCalls were hurt in the process of making this episode.
Ncuti rly just rocked up trouserless, played a high-stakes game of catch, told his younger self to get some fucking therapy, cloned the Tardis (HELLO?), and left to go clubbing. Iconic behaviour. No notes.
