The Honest Woodcutter

Once upon a time, a poor woodcutter was chopping wood near a river. Suddenly, his axe slipped from his hands and fell into the water. He sat down, saddened, as he couldn’t afford a new one.

A fairy appeared and asked, “Why are you sad?” The woodcutter explained his plight. The fairy dived into the river and brought out a golden axe. “Is this yours?” she asked.

The woodcutter shook his head. “No, mine was an old iron axe.”

The fairy smiled and brought out a silver axe. “Is this yours?” she asked again.

The woodcutter replied, “No, mine is plain and iron.”

Finally, the fairy brought out his old iron axe. The woodcutter’s face lit up, and he said, “Yes, this is mine!”

Impressed by his honesty, the fairy rewarded him with all three axes.

Moral: Honesty is always rewarded.

Dino’s Peaceful Nap in the Enchanted Forest | Moral Story For Kids

Some time ago in a lavish green woods loaded up with the delicate stirring of leaves, there carried on with a sluggish little dinosaur named Dino. Dino was a little accommodating brontosaurus with a long smooth neck and an affection for comfortable rests.

Consistently, in the wake of chomping on his number one greeneries and playing with his dinosaur companions, Dino would begin to feel his eyelids develop weighty. Yawning generally, he would meander through the timberland, searching for the ideal spot to lay down for his midday rest.

One bright day, Dino found a tranquil obscure woods encompassed by tall trees and delicate overgrown ground. The daylight sifted through the leaves, creating dappled shaded areas that moved around him. Dino realized he had tracked down his new most loved resting spot.

As he set out the calming hints of the woodland filled his ears the delicate breeze murmuring through the trees, the far off calls of birds, and the tranquil stirring of little animals in the underbrush.

Dino felt a flood of quiet wash over him as he cuddled into the delicate greenery. Shutting his eyes Dino took a full breath in and let it out leisurely, feeling totally settled. With every breath he felt increasingly loose, sinking further into the comfort of his environmental elements.

Dino calmed by the timberland into a quiet rest, longed for undertakings and companions, console by the consistent presence of his serene woods. Thus Dino snoozed joyfully, realizing that after his rest he would be prepared to investigate and play by and by in his lovely tranquil woodland.
