Bad news gang, I'm still poor and can't even cover all my needs. I started my new job on the 16th of November and I was under probation until December 16th so I didn't get paid for Thanksgiving break. we get paid the 15th and 31st since I was new and started in the middle of the pay period I didn't get paid the 31st so I was late on my rent and I try to budget out my bills so I pay rent one check and bills the other so I'm not assed out like I am now but I don't have enough to pay for things I absolutely need so I'll break it down: bus pass expires on the 19th and that's $45 (I can make due with a weekly for $15 since I only have work next week but it would be nice to go to the library/museum free days/see friends/etc on my christmas break) my furniture rental is $79 (I had to get a new bed because my old mattress was making my back hurt and I was afraid it would be permanent I couldn't go grocery shopping as I have $8.98 left and I usually spend about $100-$150 for groceries for two weeks. my health insurance is due but I don't have an appointment until January and I haven't got a letter saying they're dropping me so I'm not super worried by it's $44 I would like to pay my gym $28 but that's not a necessity.

I'm a toddler teacher that faced a near eviction this year trying to hold it together. I know it's christmas and most people are having trouble with inflation so please do not feel bad if you can't but if you could reblog this I'd appreciate it
