Hey guys, here’s a teaser on my new fic that’s centered around my ghoul oc Lumin and his summoning during the beginning of the Prequel era. Mostly Lumin and Copia centric, but also ghoul dynamics and ghoul packs. I love these little guys.

Lots of angst but also hurt/comfort. It will have mature themes.

Name: Luminous or Lumin for short

Pronouns: He/They

Height: 6’9

Description: A very large and broad ghoul. With long and flowing blonde locks and amber eyes. They’re quite a sight to behold with the countless battle scars that litter their body. They have a long and blonde lion tail that often sways behind him. Many other ghouls tease that his hair is his loin’s mane.

Element: Multi ghoul (Quintessential, Air, and Fire.) He’s a special type of multi ghoul called a Protector. Made bigger and stronger than regular ghouls to keep packs safe in the pit. They are also often referred to as Warrior Ghouls.

He has the ability to sense others emotions and he can put off a slight calming aura to help others to stay at ease. Though he also had advanced strength and slightly heightened senses compared to other ghouls.

Protector Ghoul: Warriors of the pit. Made for battle and protection of fellow ghouls. Not leaders of packs or in charge, they are simply guided by their instincts to help ghouls in need and to keep them safe.

In the past it is thought that protector ghouls were made to battle the angels themselves.

Summoning: It is not common for a protector to be summoned. In the past they were called upon to be soldiers and guards for humans in times of great desperation.

Now It is seen as a bad omen to have summoned a protector. They are creatures of war after all… If they are called upon that means there is a great disruption within the place of the summoning or the summoner.

Ministry Duties: Security and protection for Papa and the other ghouls. Breaks up ghoul fights and keeps them safe on tours. Also is the mediator and the voice of reason and comfort in disputes.

Personality: He’s the mom friend. Is always looking out for others instead of himself. It’s their job after all. Hopeless romantic and a little awkward at times. Always willing to give a helping hand and take stress away.

Has a secret mischievous side that loves to tease others and get them riled up. They’re quite the flirt when he wants to be.

He sometimes falls into his more animalistic side of his ghoul instincts being a protector. He loves to play hunt with his fellow ghouls. Hide and seek is their favorite game.

Other information: Was summoned by Copia during the Prequelle era. He was only the second ghoul that the cardinal ever summoned, with Rain being the first.

This is the first time that Lumin has ever been in the mortal realm. He doesn’t know quite how to feel about being stuck in a mortal body yet.

I fully believe that the LA Ghoulettes are Sister Imperator's Ghoulettes, and she summoned them.

She doesn't have time for goofy male Ghouls. She has four well trained (and dangerous) Ghoulettes to pad by her side. They've been with her since the 60s.

Also, the Ghoulettes NEVER forgive Nihil. They don't listen to him, and when he does try to talk to them, they hiss at him.
