More fodder for my split timelines within time/space and temporal loom theory. Haven't finished his new myth just yet 👀

Our Xavier is the same, he is not reincarnated. After he crowned Queen Miss Hunter he left Philos with the Backtrackers and has remained.

And yet...another Xavier takes the throne after a period of time AFTER he left Philos and after Queen Miss Hunter is "erased".

Something about how Xavier and the Backtrackers left created an alternate timeline where it split to include another Xavier.

I'm side-eyeing the bit about Queen Miss Hunter being "erased from hiatory" after her coronation. Did spacetime split when they traversed the Deepspace Tunnel with whatever technology they created? Did Queen Miss Hunter survive long after OG Xavier left or did those who knew about her power drag her back to the planet's core to be sacrificed?

My absolute no proof crack theory is this;

Alternate Xavier is lost in Starfall Forest for a time, maybe unable to leave due to his energy being consumed, and by the time he is able to return to Philos proper something has happened to his Queen. Thus the Tyrant King Xavier who is just done with all of it.

But also 🌱

Imagine knowing Sylus when he was a dragon, wayyy long ago. He becomes quite fond of you, his little human, with all your little quirks and interests. One of which catches his curiosity:

Your love of birds

He loves taking you out into the forest. Watching you crane your neck up to the sky, eyes darting around the canopy to find the sources of birdsong. You point out all the ones you know, and the ones you don't, telling him their names and admiring their plumage and behaviors

It's on one of these outings that you find a baby out of its nest

You immediately rush over, but avoid touching the weak little thing as you try to find its nest. You ask for his help, and he climbs up to look for himself, but he finds nothing. He wishes he had, because the look on your face - brow pinched, lips downturned, deeply upset for this little creature - hurts him

With no sign of its parents nearby, you scoop the chirping baby into your palms. It looks up at you, this ugly little thing, mouth gaping to ask for food. He can't help scowling at it over your shoulder. It would be better to simply leave the thing for some other animal to eat. But saying that aloud would only earn your ire. So he keeps his mouth shut

You nurse the baby to health. It grows too attached to you to want to leave, and Sylus has to come to terms with the fact that he's losing even more territory to a damn crow of all things. He's already had to shoo it away from his hoard on more than one occasion. You just laugh when you see him shoot up from his sleepy lounging to chase off the adolescent bird on the other side of the large treasure room. He grumbles and mopes on his way back, to plop on top of you and receive your apology for laughing at him in the form of pets and kisses

"Mephisto!" you call one day. The crow caws happily as it flies down from one of the high ledges its claimed as its own and perches on your shoulder

Sylus cocks his brow. "'Mephisto'? Don't tell me you named the bird."

"He needed a name! If he's going to be living with us, I need to call him something."

"It should be living out in the woods, where it belongs."

Over time, though... that damn bird grows on him

Mephisto brings him trinkets from places Sylus can't reach on his own. And eventually he even relents some of his own collection for the crow to take up into his own nest

...

By the time he lands in the N109 Zone, alone, he wishes he had that crow around to keep him company. He misses that cawing laugh, the odd quirks, the way it absolutely preened under your attention

As soon as he's able, he builds Mephisto again. One that will last. One that still collects shiny trinkets, that still acts just the same way your Mephisto did, that will still love you once he finds you again

And in this lifetime, when he sees you calling Mephisto down from his high nest. When Mephisto perches on your shoulder. When you give his chin little scratches as he preens under the attention...

He sees his beloved, back in his cave, with your bird on your shoulder, looking at him with the light of a million diamonds in your eyes

LADS upcoming myths predictions -- let's go! These would be inspiration and jumping off points to do something new.

CALEB -- I am admittedly not as familiar with Caleb. As I've answered in an ask, I choose not to interact with that character for personal reasons. I got his first myth, X-02, but haven't interacted with any supplemental memories outside of the main story.

a. Icarus -- LADS pulls from all kind of mythology and Icarus seems like low hanging fruit for Caleb. In the Greek telling, it's his father Daedalus who warns Icarus not to fly too close to the sun. The really interesting part for me though is that Daedalus AND Icarus were imprisoned by King Minos of Crete. Caleb could easily fly too low due to extra weight from rescuing Miss Hunter or fly too low coming back for her. If the theory that we are moving to Miss Hunter being the one dying for her lover is true then perhaps she lets go to save his life rather than have them both fall to their death. No happy endings here folks.

b. Iðunn's Apple -- Miss Hunter as Iðunn from Norse mythology, who is the keeper of apples that turn the old young again. Caleb could be searching for the apples or Iðunn to achieve immortality for himself or perhaps to take back to an aged, dying mentor or family member and is killed by her husband OR he could take on the role of Loki in rescuing her.

c. Skoll and Hati -- The two wolves from Norse mythology that chase the sun and moon, also chasing to devour the gods attached to the two celestial bodies. This would be great to play on their X-02/A-01 mythos of them having the energies of creation and destruction.

d. Hercules -- I'M SORRY. It would tie in quite nicely to the chip and mind control/memory control thing Caleb has going on. Obviously Miss Hunter would be Megara who is killed by him under a fit of madness from the gods.

XAVIER -- I would love to see more of the royal day to day intrigue, a lot of the time he runs off to prince-ly things while Miss Hunter wanders off to do something else.

a. The Man in the Iron Mask -- Like COME ON. Xavier is the man is mask for refusing to kill an earlier iteration of Miss Hunter on Philos, new iteration finds him.

b. King Arthur -- Perhaps a play on Xavier vs Lumiere? One is Arthur, one is Lancelot BUT they are never seen together cause, duh, they are both Xavier. Miss Hunter thinks they are two people and thinks she's in a love triangle with courtly intrigue.

c. Prince Paris of Troy -- Miss Hunter is Helen of Troy, Xavier is Paris. They attempt, keyword ATTEMPT, to run away together.

d. Alice in Wonderland - Wonderland themed, Xavier tries to get Miss Hunter home.

RAFAYEL -- At this point, I think they need a bit of a break from Sea God mythology. I said what I said.

a. Prince Oberon -- I could see this going a couple ways. Miss Hunter as his wife Titania who accidentally compels him to do something Rafayel doesn't agree with. They fight and some of the other events from A Midsummer Night's Dream occurs except when Rafayel casts the sleeping spell, Miss Hunter doesn't awake...

b. Siren Rafayel -- again with the low hanging fruit but we've never seen Rafayel as a genuine Siren IMO. I want a SCARY, monstrous siren who kills men and takes pleasure in it. Make Miss Hunter a pirate or something who was supposed to be pulled down to Davy Jones locker and must get past Siren Rafayel's more feral, murderous tendencies.

c. Selkie Rafayel -- Miss Hunter accidentally gets his hide. This flirts with Bride of the Sea God, so would need to go a different direction.

d. Captain Nemo -- Rafayel, tired of seeing petty humans, hides away in the waves aboard the Nautilus. He seeks revenge, like Nemo, because he believes his Bride to be dead. He sees her reborn as a stowaway.

ZAYNE -- Where to start, whew!

a. Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde -- We are already walking this path after Death and Rebirth with Zayne but some of the horror aspects of it would be interesting for sure!

b. Phantom of the Opera -- Again with hiding and being of two minds, Miss Hunter could be Christine. I could see Zayne as the Phantom OR Raoul. Could have Zayne as Raoul and Dawnbreaker as the Phantom.

c. Cronos and Zeus -- Before anyone comes for me DEFINITY NOT the part where Zeus can't keep it in his pants for Hera. But the idea of Zayne as a Zeus like figure who is working to overthrow his father Cronos...AKA...Astra.

d. Sherlock and Holmes -- Miss Hunter as a Holmes type, would hilarious.

SYLUS -- I definitely don't have a favorite, what do you mean? 👀

a. Gladiator -- same as above, we are already walking this path since it has been confirmed Sylus and Miss Hunter fought as Gladiators, teamed up, and attempted (?) to run away together.

b. Hades -- I am 100% sure we are going to get here eventually, there are too many signs with his mythology in the game and all kinds of other easter eggs. Kieran, Luke, and Mephisto are the three heads of his dog Cerberus.

c. Odin -- I'm surprised I don't see more people taking about this one. Luke and Kieran as his ravens, Huginn and Muninn, while Miss Hunter is Frigg.

d. Ares -- With Miss Hunter as Aphrodite, he must rescue her from a forced marriage to Hephaetus.

e. Dracula -- I feel like I don't need to expand. Miss Hunter is the reborn Mina. But can you imagine if they went the direction of Underworld?

f. Knight and Dragon -- but subverted, Miss Hunter is the Knight.

These spatial fluctuations from the Deepspace Tunnel are really interesting to me. They bring in places/spaces and items from different places AND time.

The follow up questions I have are;

1. What causes a Deepspace fluctuation? Is it a naturally occurring phenomenon similar to radiation in regards to real black holes? (I looked briefly at the real life explanation and I'm just straight up not smart enough for that 🤣)

In terms of our fantasy meets sci-fi story, could it be due to unrest in the cosmos? Battle between Goddess of Creation and God of Fate Astra?

2. Who is the Deepspace tunnel reading/reacting to? It's not a coincidence that is pulling places/items of importance to both the boys and Miss Hunter. Her memories? Their memories? Both?

3. Is this happening simultaneously? Is Sylus's chapel in two places at once? Are the ruins of Sea God's temple at the bottom of the sea and on Rafayel's make shift island at the same time?

I'm back with more LADs lore predictions 🤔

1. Miss Hunter's origins as a celestial being made into a humanoid form --

By the game's definition, protocores are; dropped by Wanderers once they are killed and carry celestial energy that can be harnessed for many applications.

We've seen several specific protocores:

A. The Creatio protocore, during Zayne's Foreseer myth. This protocore is said to contain Astra's power and Zayne says "Astra's power is yours to wield" after Miss Hunter absorbs it. Interestingly, he also mentions prior in the myth that her heart condition stems from "resonance with it" and that the Creatio protocore was growing stronger by "draining away" Miss Hunter's life.

B. The specific protocore Xavier searched for and found during his time on Philos. I don't believe it's ever named. I'm not convinced this wasn't Miss Hunter being vague and telling Xavier a cure existed to give him hope so I don't really include this one.

C. Destructio, I'm not sure this was ever confirmed as a protocore but I'm making an assumption here. The "energy" of Miss Hunter from Caleb's myth as A-01.

D. Construo, same as above I am assuming this is a protocore. The "energy" of Caleb as X-02 in his myth. Interestingly, A-01 and X-02 appear to be able to switch these energies -- creation and destruction are two sides of the same coin. I think there are meant to be one protocore. Perhaps this a situation where Miss Hunter has one half of it and Caleb the other.

E. The Spatium core, spatium literally meaning space or displacement or even the distance between two points. In the story, it's been used to influence spaces and create new ones.

F. Special shoutout to the Aether core class, a rare fragment or complete crystal filled with celestial energy. Aether meaning the sky, the dominion of the gods (assuming they are using the mythical definition) and the god of light. A complete Aether core has its own energy shield to protect it. Aether cores come from "the very core of the cosmos". For a long time, I assumed Sylus's eye contained half of Miss Hunter's Aether core and that was why it's unstable. But Zayne says "the energy in your heart has always been stable" and that it "forms a shield when attacked". Miss Hunter's Aether core is in one, complete piece.

G. The Origo core, recently introduced in Death and Rebirth. It descends from the cosmos and finds (seeks out?) dying planets. Then a "tiny protocore" is born from destruction after a planet "collapses inward". and dies. This introduces a chicken and egg problem for me: was there an origin Origo core? Or a planet must die for one to be produced? Was the cosmos made from THE Origo core? If so, how was the very first one produced? By who/what?

SO - Miss Hunter? The game keeps making a point to inform us that it is time AND space that is being altered/bent.

She appears to be based on the Greek Gaia or the Egyptian Nut.

Nut is summarized as the goddess of the sky, stars, the cosmos, mothers, astronomy, and the universe.

Gaia is summarized as the Earth personified, the mother of all life.

She will likely be a combo of the two inspiration wise, given that there supposedly more planets in Deepspace besides Earth.

She travels the universe, comes upon/looks for dying planets and plants a seed of herself in the planet's core. This seed is an Origo core and is powered by her essence. The Origo core builds a new planet and eventually the Origo core houses itself in a human/humanoid personification of her.

These human seeds become our Beloved Bride, Sea Witch, A-01, Thief, the Master of Fate's companion, Knight, Queen, Dragon, and Gladiator. I still maintain my earlier stance that these lives do not intersect nor happen on the same planet or timelime since Miss Hunter's Origo powers allow her to part time and space.

Overall, I think she will be a mix of various mythologies.

Astra seems to have a particular grudge against Miss Hunter, her being part of a pantheon would make sense. Something clearly happened between her and Astra. He seems to be following her across time and space, even if he isn't named explicitly.

In the end? My money is that she is the goddess of life and free will while Astra is the god of death and fate -- two sides of the same coin, locked in an unending battle. I still maintain Astra is the big bad. And what makes her immortal is the Origo protocore.

2. Miss Hunter's latest iteration --

If indeed Miss Hunter seeded all the planets that would presumably include Earth. So is our Miss Hunter a seed that has been on Earth for millenia and recently awakened? I'm not so sure.

I realize this is Zayne and his mystery mission to the Arctic, but the imagery makes me wonder if there IS a Miss Hunter for Dawnbreaker, the OG Earth seed, but she is trapped somewhere by Astra or somehow dormant....perhaps stuck in the Arctic in a different time/space pocket?

In short, I think our latest iteration of Miss Hunter is the gladiator version of her with Sylus. They agree to run away together and something happens to split them up. I believe this is where Sylus ends up in the time space prison and Miss Hunter?

The Deepspace Tunnel being described as "vast" is interesting. It feels like the Temporal Loom from Loki. There is one Deepspace Tunnel, and everything branches from it. Deepspace Tunnel = an Olympus of sorts in the middle/a pocket removed from time and space?

She falls through the Deepspace Tunnel to Earth. If she can manipulate time and space, as it appears she can, she could be falling through multiple times/spaces of the Deepspace Tunnel and "jumping" in her distress.

But our Miss Hunter has protocore syndrome and lacks the power she's supposed to have? The Deepspace Tunnel tore them from her during her fall and they fell from her as protocores. She doesn't have a weak heart -- she's incomplete. The specific, named protocores are easily and "accidentally" absorbed by her because they belong to her, they are pieces of her.

She's going to be weak and unstable until she is complete. She's gotta pull a Thanos and collect them things!

And when she does? Along with sorting thru her memories? She's gonna be scary.

3. But wait -- what about her weak heart in the myths with boys?

This circles back to she can manipulate time and space -- perhaps the Deepspace Tunnel was originally her means of travel and something went wrong? Altered by Astra? Either way, she appears to be incomplete in some (all?) of the myths as well. Her heart with Xavier and Foreseer Zayne, something is "wrong" with her power with Master of Fate Zayne, etc.

If the Goddess version of her is where all the seed versions of her draw their power from, is something wrong with the Goddess and that's why her seeds are weak?

It also occurs to me the boys could have pieces of her as well from their origins and that explains the inexorable draw to each other. Their choice to fall in love but the type of locked eyes with a stranger in a crowded room and can't look away draw.

Or perhaps the boys are celestial bodies as well, I did see a theory to support this (would love to credit the original person who thought that one up, please let me know) on various platforms -- Miss Hunter seeds the planet and becomes intertwined with it.
