“Scarves aren’t my style,” Kennedy smiled. “Maybe,” she nodded in agreement. “Hey, I never said I was creative,” she stuck her tongue out. “Of course he’s the protagonist. What should the dragon’s name be? It’s your pick.” 

“Why don’t you wear a scarf then?” Benji joked, lifting his shoulders into a shrug “I’ll just have to bite you in a less obvious spot next time– or an easier to hide spot” he added, focusing the camera on her as she began telling the story “Once upon a time? That’s original” he teased, sitting down on the floor “This dragon better be the protagonist in this story otherwise I’ll turn this camera off”

“Yes!” she smiled. “I love being the best,” she smiled and curtsied. “The pleasure is mine, Caine. Ooh, a confetti angel sounds tempting...” 

He twirled in the confetti and laughed, beaming brightly at the blonde. “Your welcome has been the best so far,” Caine said with a round of applause. “Pleasure, Kennedy. I’m Caine. And I think you should clean it up quickly before I’m tempted to make a confetti angel and make matters worse for you.”

“I’ll tell you one thing, her side of the room will never be messy, that’s for sure. She’ll notice when anything is out of place,” she informed him. “I wonder that myself, actually,” Kennedy chuckled. “I guess I’m just too cute to be dead,” she said with a playful shrug of her shoulders. 

“Last time I checked, yes” he nodded his head and smiled at the girl “How are you still alive in a place like this though?”

“Oh, you are? That’s cool!” she smiled. “I know,” Kennedy agreed with a nod. “Super vulnerable,” she sighed.

“I always do” he shrugged his shoulders and then smiled at the mention of the girls sister “Ah, yes, we’re roommates” he told her before looking a little confused “A human in this town? Weird. You’re super vulnerable y’know?”

Kennedy laughed at Benji’s mock surrender. “I want to be able to go out and show some skin for a couple days before my pretty skin gets bitten again,” she shrugged and smiled. She laughed quietly and smoothed her skirt once the camera was turned on her. “Once upon a time...” she started. “There was this dragon,” she looked to him with a smile.

“So you wanna wait till your wound is healed up completely before you let me bite you again? I really don’t see sense in that, but okay” he held his hands up in mock surrender “Sing a song– or yes, tell a story…add a dragon in there somewhere alright?” he laughed, taking the camera from her and facing it in her direction.

Kennedy chuckled, “I mean it! I’ve never seen moves like that before,” she remarked with a smile. “You too,” she nodded. “Not very interesting so far. Not until that dance move.”

“Don’t boost my ego like that, i may actually believe you” he chuckled “Lovely to meet you Kennedy” he smiled “How’s the filming going for you?”

“Sorry,” Kennedy chuckled before holding a finger up to tell the boy to wait a second. She stood up off her bed and crouched to the ground, fiddling through a bag. Then she popped up and threw some homemade confetti above her head. “Welcome!” she chuckled again. She stepped closer to him. “I’m Kennedy,” she said with a smile. “And I promise I’ll clean that up.” 

“Well, that welcoming wasn’t so convincing,” he joked. “I guess I am. Hi, I’m Caine.”

“Good point. Ooh, is that a rubix cube?” she asked. “I’ve never been able to solve one.”

“That all depends on what you claim to be interesting.” Naomi replied, intently working at her rubix cube.

“Maybe some other time,” she chuckled. “My neck is starting to clear up now,” she smiled. “Hmm,” Kennedy tapped her chin. “I can’t think of anything entertaining to do besides tell a story or something. But that’s not really quality entertainment,” she laughed and shook her head.

“Y’know if you’re bored, feel free to come feed me again” he teased “How about I film now. Surely you’d be a lot more entertaining on camera than me..”

“You make a good point,” Kennedy laughed quietly. “Yeah, just my older sister, Avery,” she told him. “I’m actually not enhanced at all,” she shrugged. “Just plain old human.”

“Maybe what you need is a different approach to people when you film them or even their consent for that matter” he teased before shrugging “You got family here huh? Are you enhanced or what?– you’re definitely a human based species, I just can’t tell what kind..”

Kennedy chuckled to herself. “That’s nothing. My sister used to be like that in high school but worse,” she smiled. “I had to help coach her before she had any big presentations or speeches to do.” 

“More like I get super awkward on camera. When I was little– no joke, I used to stutter while doing speeches in front of my class..”

“You could totally go pro,” she smiled. “Kennedy,” she shook his hand gently. 

Tyler chuckled “And that right there, is the beginning and end of my dance career” he grinned “Tyler” he held out his hand to her

“You’re probably not missing anything. I haven’t seen anything interesting like at all. You’d think this place would be way more interesting, right? With it being a secret town full of supernaturals and all.” 

“Well I’m not sure loads is going on. Unless I’m sleeping through the good stuff as it seems kind of quiet.” the brunette replied looking at the other girl.

“I try my best,” she smiled. “Yeah, basically. I’ve gotten beyond bored, so I decided to go around and see if I could find anything interesting.”

“You’re too kind. What are you filming for anyway? Just a way to pass time?”

“That’s alright. Not all of us like that kind of attention,” she replied. “My sister’s not a camera person either. She had a similar reaction.”

“Clearly not a camera person” he shook his head “Don’t apologize"
