ICE raids are starting on Tuesday in Chicago.
Yell “ICE” and “LA MIGRA” to disrupt them. Notify people and use your privilege as a citizen to make ICE’s job as difficult as possible.
Fascism has been here. It’s just loud now. Time to be loud too.

“no matter how badly you think you’re doing it, someone else has done it a lot worse and been fine” is applicable to a wide, wide range of things and i say it to myself all the time

really really really hoping the US gov pushing fear of china so far that they drive the insanely active & impressionable userbase off of tiktok and onto red note backfires in such grandiose fashion that having chinese friends and peers you see and address every day becomes the new norm and all xenophobic antiasian fear mongering crumples into itself and burns

I saw Progress II (1974) this weekend, a sculpture by Luis Jiménez (of Denver Airport's Mustang fame) and I truly cannot stop thinking about this sculpture. It was not the most extravagant, weird, or beautiful thing I saw when I went to the museum but it is the single thing that is still haunting me. The scale of his sculptures is so interesting and there is something really visceral and humbling about standing under a statue that you know like, factually and historically, could literally murder you!

it's a classic scam. you buy cheap ingredients, renovate them using heat and other ingredients and flip em. by the time the cops catch up you've moved on to another dish

whenever i see those "questions about your blorbo" polls i feel like i can't really answer because it assumes i have A blorbo, singular, when usually i'm rotating at least five blorbos in my head from 2-3 franchises at the time, and the answer is different for all of them

It's easy to think "nobody in the whole wide world cares about me" on an empty stomach but try doing it while eating Vegetables and Rice. Seems less convincing now doesn't it? That's simply the power of Vegetables and Rice..

As far as Pokemon trainers go I'm basically a huge badass. Any kid who enters my line of sight is going to get destroyed by my Pidgey. And if that doesn’t work? I have a second Pidgey with the exact same move set.
