Rick Riordan constantly trashing the movies for not sticking to his books then releasing a show in which he rewrites everything and loses the spirit of the books entirely
#i liked a lot of the things they added#like poseidon showing up for sally#and sally and percy's relationship was really established#and all those things#i genuinely enjoyed it#but that's not to say that i agree with a lot of the criticisms in the tags#theyre valid points#and i think if the production team and the writers saw this#and worked on these for a next season#it would be even better#but the actors were so so good#for me i thnk that's the best part of it#pjo

Thoughts on episode 5
- rick had to be so patient when we were all complaining about the fates
- im weirdly bothered by the fact that percy can be wet. I dont know why this particular detail bothers me
- i wish we saw the kids eat. Im worried about them.

- percys comments about what is love made me feel 1000 years old
- this episode reminds me of how many different versions of the myths there are because i was always told Aphrodite married Hephaestus because he made her a sick ass belt
- Hephaestus is cool but it just reminded me about how i need this show to have 6 seasons minimum so we get Leo
