love corrupting characters in my fics actually. yeah, that classic 'if it feels good then it can't be that bad' trope where a character knows it is, in fact, that bad. but the sex temptation is too good.

now apply this to enemies to lovers yaoi where an antagonist manipulates and corrupts the protagonist whom he's obsessed with, or the protagonist takes his revenge and counter attacks by manipulating and corrupting the antagonist who's ruined his life, until one of them, while on both knees, crying, goes fuck if it feels good then it can't be that bad.

i have truly never stopped thinking about doffy w/ cora's corpse. the levels of transgression are just so fucking many. doffy puppeting coras body as if he were still alive and have it just loiter around the palace, interacting with the rest of the family like it's still cora. doffys mental state being WORSE. the eggshells everyne has to walk around never knowing if they should defer to coras body or treat it like a traitor bc doffy himself doesnt know. doffy eating his brothers heart or all of his body so cora can never leave him. saving coras body in a freezer so he can cut a piece on the anniversary of his betrayal and eat him as if to say you are still with me. doffy making the rest of the family eat cora in a show of im allowing you to eat a gods body dont you see how much i love you. doffy letting the corpse rot in the heart seat and no one is allowed to move it even when it's just bones. doffy using coras bones as jewelry. skinning cora and making his flesh into a suit he wears. stitching cora into his feathered coat so he carries cora with him everywhere and laughing when he goes to the warlord meetings and knowing sengoku doesnt know his son is so close. hysterical when law joins. doffy stuffing the body and having it in his room where he sullies it every way possible. doffy cutting off coras head and taking it with him when he goes to do his joker activities so cora can see how he failed in stopping him. just. the possibilities are endless.

yeah that part about doffy making his family eat cora is so good. that aspect of rosinante still being a celestial dragon is so important because doffy probably will never allow him to rot down here or anywhere that isn’t mariejois because that, rather than anything doffy will do to him, is the true desecration of god blood. so obviously the only way to keep it holy is to eat him :) no part of him is allowed to remain down here if he won’t rot in mariejois he won’t rot at all

and it HAS to be inconsistent you’re so right that the family have to walk on eggshells because doffy neuroses turns on a dime doffy is forcing this haunting he is cursing this household he has made the donquixote family into a haunted house he is refusing to exorcise this ghost ahhhhhhhhh my donquixobros..………….

These days, I just can’t seem to motivate myself to finish any of my AU projects… Even answering your questions feels almost impossible, so I’m really sorry for the radio silence. I am trying, I promise.

But I really don’t want to give up on everything entirely, so I tried to make an entry for @corazonartcollab

It definitely wasn’t easy — colors and painting are always a struggle for me — but this one came together a bit more easily somehow.
