EDIT: Well this got a lot of attention! I got a few users asking to print or repost my art and I am unimaginably grateful to everyone's interest, especially since it's a really simple drawing I made on a whim haha! slow down for your disabled friends. thats like a bare minimum kindness that we shouldnt have to ask for. i love that youre so quirky and walking fast is a cool personality trait to you and all that but i bet you can count your physically disabled friends on less than one hand

Whenever I see shit like this, I remember that back then, there were a lot of "LGB" people who thought the best course of action was to assimilate -- to dress like a straight and live like a straight, and just go to gay clubs at night to cheat on your straight spouse. They looked down on trans people and drag queens and GNC femme gay men and butch lesbians, and asked why they couldn't just act the part and accept that was just how society was. There wouldn't BE the queer liberation we have now if history was up to these people.
