it is so funny to me how i started learning english on my own age 10 because the manga i was reading was turning so so so bad i went to fan content to cope with how shit it was. and 15 years later this pays off as my boss tells me i'm an essential asset in the team as the only fluent english-speaker.

🚨 My Mom is on the Edge – Save Her Life Before It's Too Late! 🚨

I write these words with a heavy heart and a heavy heart. My mother, a symbol of tenderness and giving, is now suffering from unbearable pain, as she suffers from deadly blood cysts on her liver that threaten her life at every moment. The situation has become like an endless nightmare; every minute that passes brings us closer to eternal separation.

The hospital is asking for $3,789 to perform the urgent surgery, and these amounts seem unattainable in these circumstances that turn our lives into a continuous battle against death. I see the pain in her eyes, and the tears running down her cheeks, and I can only beg you with all my hope: Help me save my mother, as every donation, no matter how small, could be the difference between life and death.

This appeal comes from the depths of the heart, filled with sadness and tears, and I appeal to every kind soul to give us a second chance, a chance to keep our mother among us. Hello my friend, I hope you and your family are my mother is dying in front of my eyes, and the pain is mercilessly eating away at her body. This is open for public comment until the end of May 19th. Please comment and make your voice heard.

Wildlife need their habitat. If the ESA redefines harm so that habitat is no longer protected, the implications for wildlife would be catastrophic.

My friend Mahrah (@mahrahpalestine) is an engineering student. She is brilliant and speaks with a clarity of analysis and thoughtfulness (even in a second language, even while living in crisis), that is profoundly impressive and humbling to me. She holds hope that Palestine will be free, and when it is, she will use her knowledge and skill to help rebuild.

Her father lost his job due to the war, and she does not have the money for university fees. The situation for her and other Palestinians is getting more difficult as the duration of the crossing closure increases, and the genocidal famine is leading to sickness and starvation.

Mahrah explained, "Food is missing from the markets. If the food is found, it is usually unhealthy because it contains preservatives and we eat it for a year and 8 months, and this causes diseases. But there are no other options to do without it. My nephews are at risk for my father's and mother's diseases and need healthy food because they are at an advanced age. It's like a famine, but there is no media to cover what's happening. They killed all the journalists."
