Returning to my occasional whirlwind of obsession with classic Core Design titles, I was wandering the net in search of replicas and merchandise, when I came across one of my dreams since I was a child: the reproduction of the three secrets of “Tomb. Raider II”, one of my favorite video games of all time and a practically annual replay of mine.

Enchanted and unstoppable, I tried to contact the artist of these beauties on Etsy, although the item had already been sold many months ago and to my pleasant surprise I received an answer.

Not only the seller was super nice but he even had the patience to wait for me to get my monthly salary.

Below I put all the links: that of the sales announcement, that of his Etsy account where he sells his works and that of his Facebook page dedicated to his immense and enviable collection with the “Tomb Raider” theme.

This game and in particular the search for what my twin sister Ivana and I call “the babies secrets” were a fundamental part of my childhood and growth as a video games lover and I admit that my hands were shaking a little while I unwrapped them, after having pulled them out of the package.

The photos won’t do them justice for sure, because they are pure perfection.

I am a child again, sitting on the huge swivel chair in front of the computer with Ivana close by, while we explore the Great Wall endless times, captured by that world made of pixels and polygons. 😭😭😭😍

and finally my third, yes third! 1/6 Figures/Doll the SWTOYS FS031 Croft 3.0 1/6 scale figure! This one is based on how she looks in the recent Shadow of the Tomb Raider game. I was apparently suppose to get this for Last Christmas but remember being told it was delayed due to the pandemic which of course sucked but I have to say she was worth the wait!! she looks amazing and I can't wait to put her with the others!

Lara’s Home Gets Deep Cleaning in PowerWash Simulator

Square Enix Collective, in partnership with Crystal Dynamics, recently announced a free Tomb Raider DLC for PowerWash Simulator to be released at the end of the month across all platforms.

Developed by British studio FuturLab, PowerWash Simulator is a relaxing and oddly-satisfying game that puts you in the boots of a skilled cleaner to, as its title suggests, use a power washer on everything you can think of, from patios to public parks and even vehicles, splashing away all the dirt and grime built up over time and getting them sparkly clean. Besides a single player campaign you can also share the fun with your friends in an online co-op mode.

This cookbook and guide combo was released globally with a publication date of October 26, 2021 by Insight Editions for $29.99. It was released as merchandise for the Tomb Raider series and the various recipes through the book is inspired by the franchise.
