Can I use a AU that you have on this blog to write a fanfic?
Absolutely! Inspiring others to create is half the purpose of this blog, even though it is no longer active (someone is free to take over, however, if they'd like to, just shoot me a message). The only thing we ever ask is that you credit the original creator of the AU, and possibly link to the post itself.
Edit: I forgot to mention that we also would appreciate a link to the fanfic/art you create, so that we can share it here on the blog as well!

Lantern au
I’ve been thinking about this au for a while, and there are two ways it can go.  The first is pretty straight forward:
So the basis of this is that, since green lantern rings are powered by will, dying will flames should be able to power them.  So Tsuna manages to find a “defunct” power ring (which generally wouldn’t work without it’s lantern) and manages to power it up.  Now he has to fake his way through being a “real” lantern while infiltrating a bunch of space cops (because if you think Reborn’s gonna let him let this chance slip away you’ve got another thing coming).  Which is already a pretty great set-up.
except…
except dying will sky flames aren’t green. they're orange.
and the orange Lantern Corps associated is with greed.
And what better Lantern Corps could there possibly be for a mafia boss?  Tsuna doesn’t rule through fear, or anger, and at the end of the day his will is more fueled by his need to protect and keep his friends then anything else.  An argument could be made for love or compassion, but the indigo tribe generally only acquires members that have no compassion to begin with, and Star Sapphires are chosen from those who have lost someone they deeply care about (from what I can remember, at least).
Tsuna would never let it go that far.  This is the man who broke time and space when his family was threatened, who found an entirely new way to run a system that has been going since the dawn of humanity just because seven people would have to die for the world to survive.  Once he decides you’re his he never lets you go.
So finding a burnt, reptile-like being curled around a lantern in the middle of a crater?  That’s just par for the course.
Of course he helps.
Of course he gets attached.
Of course when tries to fight him his will, already so strong it can manifest without one of those rings, would overpower him and his lantern.
But it’s fine.
He’ll take good care of them, after all.  All of them.

Demanding Answers AU
When Reborn tells Tsuna of his heritage and his father’s place in all this mess Tsuna questions how the Vongola is so sure the CEDEF leader is actually his father or if he’s actually the Primo’s descendent. He says he won’t accept any relation to the mafia until he sees irrefutable proof. Reborn, now planning Iemitsu’s upcoming torture if not outright murder, promptly gets a DNA test done since Tsuna’s demand is rather reasonable for someone suddenly learning about their less than savory relations. The DNA test is not only between Tsuna and Iemitsu but the former two and Timoteo to prove they are related to Vongola. The results come back positive for Tsuna and Iemitsu but negative for Timoteo; meaning the Sawada males are not actually of Vongola blood.
Sorry if this is too long, this is an AU I’ve had stuck in head for weeks. I’ve read a few stories where Iemitsu isn’t Tsuna’s dad but I’ve read one where neither Tsuna or his dad are actually descended from the Primo. I mostly came up with this AU while randomly thinking about whether or not someone did a DNA test between Xanxus and Timoteo to prove Nono’s claims of Xanxus being his son, I feel like that’s something a rival famiglia would have brought up to try and discredit Vongola, even just a little bit. And now I’m making this much longer. Hope you like it, BYE!!!

Body and Mind au:
So the idea for this is that it’s a crossover with FMA.
In this au Alphonse Elric’s body doesn’t just stay in the void with the gate, but ends up in the parallel world with no memories.
He ends up getting picked up by a traveling circus, and quickly works his way up to a frontrunner by the time he’s about 15.  Specifically, he’s a stuntman who’s taken on the name Skull DeMort.
He finds himself taking less and less damage the more performances he does, to the point of eventually being able to walk away from crashes that should have killed him.  These amazing feats eventually earn him the additional title of “Immortal”.
By the time he’s 16, he’s contacted by a mysterious benefactor gathering the “strongest seven” for a job.  He doesn’t really get along with the other members, and really is not interested in all of this mafia business, but it’s just one job, right? Besides, he’s not exactly in a position to decline.
Unfortunately, it was not just one job.  After that, things more or less progress as they did in canon, right up until after The Representative Battle.  Shortly there after, Verde and the various other mad scientists successfully figure out how to age the group back up to their original ages.  They all take the weird, glowing serum that was developed…
…and Skull immediately vanishes.
See, before all of this, Checkerface and Truth struck a deal: Checkerface could keep the body for as long as necessary, to keep balance, with the promise that once this was over Truth could take it back at any time.  In exchange, Checkerface resolved a debt Truth owed to him.  The problem is that they both assumed all seven of the Arcobaleno were going to die once their flames were used up, so Truth would literally just be taking a body.
This did not happen.
Consequences are a thing other people deal with though, so when Ed finally summoned Al’s body back, he got several lifetimes worth of memories along with it.
So on one side of The Gate, we have Ed and Al trying to sort out these memories and figure out how on earth Dying Will Flames work.  Meanwhile, on the other side of the Gate we have a panicking mafia trying to get their stuntman back.
This is going to end with one of the groups ending up in the other’s world. I’m leaning towards KHR ending up in FMA, but at this point it could go either way.

Extra-Terrestrial Involvement AU:
- Namimori is a hotbed for ufo sightings and alien activity, unknown to the government. Due to it's large forest density, mountain and inconspicuous nature, most locals and ex mafia retirees wave it off or let the ETs off with a slap on the wrist for bad driving. "Not my monkeys, not my circus" is the motto.
- Tsuna's unfortunate luck lands him into a problem as he's in range for a space shuttle crash and ends up giving him quite a bit of bodily harm (anything from nerve damage to lost limbs)
- Not wanting this incident to blow out of proportion, the extraterrestrial in charge offers to nurse Tsuna back to full health and restore anything lost with technology or nanotechnology. But due to this being the equivalent of an organ change surgery, they need the permission of a legal guardian and explicit understanding of the patient in question.
- Tsuna, being a kid whose dream was to become a robot and who reads too much manga for his own good, slaps on Iemitsu's name as permitting adult and agrees wholeheartedly.
- Post surgery recovery, Tsuna finds that no, secret alien technology did not make him less clumsy or smarter, but has instead made him get faster and weirder reactions (summer saulting to try and avoid falling via tripping)
- Tsuna doesn't care much, he got a cool alien robot arm with a plasma canon, cyborg nerves and radio horns out of the ordeal. He's happy.
- Reborn, when he finds out, is both happy and not so much so.
- His new student apparently got scifi prosthetics six months before Reborn was even given his newest mission and loves it like a badge of honor. The chaos you can brew from this is enjoyable. Realising that Tsuna can manifest dying will flames through only one arm and has trouble thinking due to radio frequencies being turned up to 11 is not enjoyable.
-Reborn asks how Tsuna even got this and if it's reversible. Tsuna explained what happened.
Reborn: how did Mama even agree to letting you get extra terrestrial prosthetics?
Tsuna: she didn't.
Reborn: then who did?
Tsuna: *shows copy of the contract*
Reborn:... Iemitsu agreeing to this somehow makes sense but only if you had spun some bold faced lie to his face.
Tsuna: and what a bold faced lie it was.
- Space Prosthetics aren't omnipotent and have side effects: sudden bursts of hypersensitivity, phantom pains, numbness or coldness surrounding circuits, minor glitches responding to chemical reactions in the body and little to no synchronisation of Dying Will Flames.
- Luckily, the last part of it isn't a problem until the Varia arc. And oh boy is it a problem, as Tsuna demonstrates point blank to the Varia and his father that the reason why he technically can't inherit the Vongola Ring is due to the fact that it literally doesn't react to him due to no Flame conductivity.
- Reborn tells him to suck it up and use his brain. As it turns out, a flame conduit chain around gis neck is all they need. Xanxus is not as murderous towards Tsuna due to his own trauma concerning nerve damage and phantom pains as well as Tsuna literally opening his biggest secret to avoid the mafia, but all the same he thinks that Tsuna has double standarded cowardice.
Xanxus: you'd willingly lie about parental permission to get robot prosthetics that can cause pain but can't step up as Vongola heir? You're pathetic.
Tsuna: hey, I have good reasons. Robot prosthetics are cool and live-saving. Inheriting a crime family is traumatising and life-ending. If I had to chose one of the two, take your best fucking guess.
Xanxus: We Are Not The Same.
Tsuna: No The Fuck We Aren't.
- Hayato's admiration towards Tsuna rises by 100 because not only is his Jyuudaime a cool and forgiving boss, he's also part ET which is literally the dream.
- Spanner and Giovanni (+maybe Verde) get interested by the prosthetics and think of a way to make an weapon array that could help channel Tsuna's flames.

Guided Sky (?)
Au where Tsuna accidentally meets Skull and ends up traveling all across the world while doing schooling with Skull. The baby just accidentally got lost in Japan while he was on break for a while after he went to Disneyland.
Lucky baby, the boy thought while burying his face in homework he never understood.
To add more salt to his wounds, Nana actually hired him in order to be a tutor! And oh he was smart. Everytime Tsuna tried to outsmart him, Skull would just point out the plot holes and make Tsuna question everything he did.
The baby had the mind of an adult and it freaked him out and only him since babies could become this smart at the age of 1! Everyone ignored the fact that Skull could also do things not even adults could do like flip off of a rooftop without breaking his little baby ankles.
The baby was exhausting as hell and gave him heart attacks everytime he did something for his “job” in the first 2 weeks even in school. It would nearly kill the kid every time Skull followed a teacher or peer classmate without any problem. Including his bullies!
Tsuna went along with Skull’s antics only because Skull’s presence made it less likely for Tsuna to get in trouble or bullied. It started happening the day after he got sick, due to his bullies dumping toilet water on him. Skull was very calm that day and left him to his own devices for once.
But Tsuna’s tutor was 90% a wild kid despite his IQ. And to make things even more bizarre, Tsuna’s grades were gradually climbing up which was a miracle. Skull gave him a box of treats on golden week for passing all of his exams with a 70 or higher. He used to get 20’s and 10’s as a reference….
Skull shuddered at his previous scores before he dragged the young kid and Nana to some nice places in Japan that even Nana never knew about.
They all got to wind down and have fun in all the attractions, even Nana started acting like a kid. It was a common occurrence to see the son and mother running around in some other city for an hour or two before actually shopping around. As usual, nobody noticed the purple baby or thought the baby was a creepy doll in every city they went to.
It was the best week ever. Skull got a cat ear umbrella set with pastel raincoats for the 3 of them (Skull used it as a robe). And the food was amazing! Skull even hooked Nana up with some cooking professionals and Tsuna got a 80.5% discount on most of the things he bought related to anime or other types of books. In fact, he ended up discussing anime in an internet cafe with 3 adults who lowkey looked very familiar.
It was actually Skull’s friends who were equally intelligent as him and actually created their own big companies. Sadly, the week of fun had to end but they did end up getting a bunch of stuff which filled up 7 giant suitcases of stuff. Half of it was a bunch of stationery and a few questionable things in Skull’s bags along with a few key chains/kimonos. Nana and Tsuna bought out half of a bakery and a few other things they kept separate from each other.
After the initial bliss of golden week, he successfully did his work without any late homework and smiled at the teachers for once.
Now that he actually did his homework everyday, the teachers got bitter at the fact that he seemed to do way better, and the students left him alone.
Tsuna frowned at the hostility the teachers had and told Skull and his mother about the events after a week of the same treatment..
It was only a month later that all the teachers his class was assigned had been illegitimate student teachers who barely helped their professors or couldn’t even get into a basic college…. Namimori middle school had separated since basically almost all of the teachers didn’t even gain a degree…unsurprisingly, the terrifying demon expanded school territory. He shivered.
The demon of Namimori had terrorized Kokuyo afterwards. It was only a few miles away from the outskirts of Namimori Middle.
“Tsu-kun?”
“Mhm?” said son nodded up, his lap covered in wrinkled papers and documents. Nana bit her lip nervously.
“Well, I know Namimori isn’t the best so me and Skull think it would be better if you studied in another place….” She looked at Tsuna for confirmation.
He nodded slowly, putting away the school files and recommendations.
“I think you should be studying somewhere with Skull. I don’t know why but after we both met Skull, I feel a lot more wary for you, honey.” Her forehead crinkled in displeasure as she hugged Tsuna.
“Are you going with me?” Tsuna inquired, his eyes sharpening at her hunched pose.
“Sadly, no. I have no place anywhere outside of Namimori…. and if Iemitsu hears about me disappearing, he will search for me. Your father is a very… focused person. I would let him go but I’m scared of what he’d do to you or anyone else…. it’s not that hard to realize how tenacious Iemitsu is if you knew him dear.” She chuckled mirthlessly, her eyes darkening but prideful at the same time.
He protested but nothing could pass out of mouth, he shut his mouth after 5 minutes of silence.
“…what do you say?” his tutor stood at the door, having been there for the whole conversation. Skull’s eyes pierced through his soul. Tsuna froze in some unknown emotion and turned towards his mother. She tearfully smiled at him, getting up to make dinner.
He shook in disbelief…. Skull or his mother.
Tsuna frowned, grasping his mother’s hand. After a week of not doing anything, he reluctantly greeted his mother farewell which broke his heart. Skull gave them closure for the next 3 hours.
While they were going to the airport, Nana had texted her son and so forth, both sides missing their family member like crazy.
After 3 years, Tsunayoshi visited Japan for the first time alone and a Hitman entered Japan. Both people could feel a pit in their guts, unsure of what it was.
As for Skull, he had abandoned Tsunayoshi with a plane ticket and 3 checks that could buy out a small town on his 16th birthday, though Tsunayoshi had understood. It wasn’t Skull’s place to help the Vongola no matter how much Skull loved his pupil.
It was very obvious to Tsuna that the Vongola or it’s allies had done something devastating to Skull’s life since the cloud was so understanding. Tsuna’s palms turned clammy for the first time in a long time, gripping the cloud flame fused crystal in his hand. It was the only thing Skull truly gave that indicated his bond with the 16 yr old.
His sky flames braced him for the worst as he stepped onto Japanese ground, sharply inhaling as observant sun flames doused the airport, the hitman’s eyes scanning for the Japanese heir he needed to train.
Then they made eye contact. Reborn did not like this brat, Leon tensed and curled up on his shoulder away from the Sky’s stare. A snarky grin makes it out of the teenager as well as anger from his Cloud’s experience with the hitman.
Sun and Sky flames set each other off, creating humidity in the air conditioned airport.
(Somewhere in a quiet place, Skull woke up with orange and purple eyes, instinctively reaching for a silver shortblade behind his pillow. Sensing the irritating sun flames through his sky, he pushed out the sun to balance the powers of a grown man with developed flames in comparison to a teenager with a weakening seal that was slowly disintegrating his muscles and organs..
He hoped nothing too bad would happen to what was his. Or there would be hell to pay. He went back to sleep with restlessness in his body.)

Beast Tamers AU / Beast Fantasy AU
In which the setting is completely fantasy-and instead of Tsuna finding out he’s going to be the next Mafia Boss, he would instead be the next boss of a powerful organization who keeps peace and coexistence of the supernaturals and humans (i haven’t thought clearly of what he’s the next heir to-maybe the next king? next boss of an adventurer’s guild? i dunno).
Tsuna – after his father left – grew up in the small village of Namimori consisting of around 200 people; and, because the village is mostly isolated on a mountain surrounded by a huge forest filled with dangerous beasts, there’s limited supplies and manpower so he’d be forced to work and help his mother at around 5 years old. Tsuna would have experience in farming, cooking, tree chopping etc, but would have never hunted beasts since his mother kept (dramatically) telling stories of the forests – since she worries about him dying at the hands of a beast.
Iemitsu would’ve been an adventurer who goes out beyond the forest surrounding Namimori village and bringing back goods. But because he secretly worked for the Vongola Organization as a CEDEF leader (which CEDEF would then be a possible scouting group gathering info on kingdoms (human or supernaturals)), he then left the village for work after Tsuna was 5.
His guardians would then be his beast tamers demons, dragons-each of them can be different powerful species. Tsuna would’ve also known Kyoko as the village’s most beautiful girl (he probably would have a crush on her at one point but gives up) and would have been bullied by Mochida and others since they don’t like Kyoko hanging out with ‘No-good Tsuna’. Hana and Haru would probably be Kyoko’s beast tamers.
I have a rough idea how Tsuna would meet his guardians, but it’d probably go something like this; • Tsuna would meet Hibari-a powerful cloud-related beast-sleeping on a tree and they’d probably  • Takeshi would be a rain-related beast- wanting to commit suicide since  • Gokudera would be ofc a storm-related beast, who came to Namimori to test Tsuna’s strength as the next future leader of the Vongola Organization. Of course, Tsuna saves his butt when his power was about to hit him, he becomes like a loyal dog to Tsuna, yada yada yada • Ryohei, a sun-related beast would have encountered Tsuna when he was running away from wolf beasts. Since Ryohei loves to run like a literal marathon, he’d get interested in Tsuna’s sprint and spirit when Tsuna decides to fight the wolves using his bare hands. • Lambo… Tsuna would naturally encounter him in one of his beast hunts with reborn • Mukuro, mist-related beast-I literally don’t know. He’d probably be hunting Tsuna down, and once he finds Tsuna he’d try to possess him and all to try and reset the world, blah blah • As for Chrome, she’d be the little sister of Mukuro, working together with him i guess
Reborn… he’d be the strongest adventurer, coming to the Namimori village to train Tsuna to become a strong adventurer and leader. As for the rest of the Arcobalenos-haven’t though that far ahead.
I do want Tsuna’s guardians to be a bit… protective of Tsuna? It sounds OOC compared to the canon, but I like it when the main characters are being adored by the surrounded people. And since this is about Tsuna and him taming his beasts, surely there’s a need for adoring Tsuna if they allow Tsuna to tame his guardians.
Basically, at the end of the day,Tsuna’s guardians are protective of him.

If someone make a fanfic from your au (after asking for permission before) can they?
Yeah, bud, you are 100% free to take an AU form here and create something. The only rule is that you give credit where credit is due and ideally send us a link to it through submission.

is it gonna be a fanfic?
that’s a really vague question considering how many AUs are on this blog, buddy, but my guess is probably no lmao

Wherein I make Giotto and Alaude Uncles to Rufus Shinra
https://archiveofourown.org/works/20520626
What started it all. Currently writing middle Arc because it has more momentum than beginning Arc. Primo fan warning - Alaude and Giotto are both dead so you'll only see flashbacks of them. G is currently the most active but Spade should joining him soon, along with Ugetsu when Rufus' Turk team hits Wutai.

Is this blog still alive?
Unfortunately, anon, until further notice the answer is a solid no. I still have a couple submissions sitting around in the inbox, so there may yet come a day where I work up the will to read through them and post, but I can’t give any definitive answers on when that will happen.
Of course, if anyone more reliable and more heavily interested in KHR would like to take up the torch, then I’d be happy to pass it on.

Relation Au
Skull and Nana are siblings who got out of touch for years until Nana marries Iemitsu and invites her ‘big brother Skull’ to the wedding. When Skull shows up, Iemitsu is silently freaking out a bit because oh fuck he’s an Arcobaleno. Skull moves into Namimori after Nana gets pregnant so he could help with Tsuna. Then just imagine Fon coming to check in on his family and finding Skull there, getting all the Arcobaleno there and letting the kid versions of the tenth generation get mafia role models and experiencing Reborn’s torture-teaching much earlier than they should have/would be healthy for the parents’ (except for Nana’s) sanity.

Hello!! I was just wondering what people have been thinking about that khr play that's apparently a thing. And with all the new stuff that's been happening do you think it's possible that there might also be an anime revival sometime in the future? Also love the blog, I've been going through it the past few days and I always love seeing your stuff on my dash! ♡♡ I hope you have a great day
Hiya! I’m happy to hear you enjoy the blog and its many AUs!
Now I’m gonna be honest, I completely forgot the play was a thing. However now that I do remember it, I have no idea what to think because... KHR is pretty gosh darn weird with the cursed babies and magical fire powers, plus the magical animals like Leon. It’s cool to hear that Reborn’s original VA will be playing his role though!
As for an anime revival... One can dream, right? I don’t think it’s impossible, especially given all the new stuff we’ve been given, but the likelihood of it happening soon is pretty dubious. I’d suspect the only way we’d get a reboot, new season, or OVA is if the series got a major surge in new fans and enough demand, but who knows! Maybe we’ll be pleasantly surprised one day.

Uh hey, are y'all alright? You haven't even given a status update or anything so I'm asking to see if you're alright or something. I'm sorry if this sounds pushy or anything if you're just taking a break or something, I just wanna make sure y'all are alright.
Hey! Thanks for the concern, anon, and I do sincerely apologize for the lack of status updates.
I don’t have much of a reason this time, especially considering that I haven’t fallen out of KHR or anything. It’s really been a mix of having very few people submitting things, and also like a majority of those submissions having been sent through the ask box, which... like, I have it stated in several locations to please not do that, yet everything currently in the inbox has been submitted as an ask. Other (bigger) reasons are definitely laziness from me, amongst forgetting to provide a timely status update.
Beyond that there really isn’t any reason I shouldn’t have been posting something. However, there are some asks that are probably meant to be submissions that I’ve considered doodling something for, but just haven’t gotten around to doing, and that is also partially the reason why you’ve seen nothing from this blog.
My lack of motivation to do things aside, I do still love KHR and I don’t want this blog to die, even if it may not come off that way! I have my own AUs that I could, and probably should, write down and post- it’s just a matter of whether or not I will, and when.
I will definitely get things posted on here again someday though. Hopefully within the year, but I’m not going to make promises because this blog tends to go on unexpected hiatuses before suddenly resurrecting months later.
That all said, everyone can still send in submissions, and if they have questions or want to chat about KHR, then I’m all for it!

How about a pirate AU? Like instead of being mafia, they're pirates. The Vongola is the most powerful pirate ship there is. All the other families have their own ships. (me and my friend were talking about this a while ago, and she wondered what the arcobaleno would be? like would they have they're own ships, but I had a Crack-ish thought of 'they're parrots, and have corresponding colors. Like instead of being cursed to be babies, they're parrots, and can change into humans for a short time)
This isn’t a blog that takes art requests, but here’s a dumb scribble anyway just for you anon. I hope it’s obvious I can’t draw birds or guns.
