Headline Show at Yellow Arch Studios in Sheffield (27/11/19)

This was an epic show and we loved seeing so many familiar faces in the audience! Plus, it was SOLD OUT! Wooo!

I absolutely LOVED supporting Jools Holland! Words cannot describe how much! Here are a few photos of the tour of my favourite moments...

Pic 1. that’s me on stage with Jools and the band at Sheffield City Hall (my hometown!) in red when he invited me out for the encore, along with Richard Hawley!

Pic 2. And Ed Fielding took this lovely photo of Nick and I during our set in Harrogate International Centre when we were performing to 2,500 people, who were so respectful and attentive you could hear a pin drop!

Pic 3. This is the last night of the tour when Jools invited both Nick and I to get up for the last couple of songs of the night, along with Ruby Turner and Eddi Reader!

I’m incredibly grateful to have been given this opportunity by Jools and the team and I will never forget it.

We are going back out on tour with Jools in Autumn 2020 so look out for dates being annouced.

I’M MAKING AN ALBUM!!! WOOOOOOHOOOO!

Up until now I’ve only released singles or EP’s but now I’ve finally got my sh*t together to make a full length LP and I cannot wait for you to hear it! We’ve been in the studio already and the first single is about to drop to keep you beady eyes peeled!!

I’ll be releasing the album early next year, but in the meantime I’ll keep you updated you with behind the scenes pics and vids ;)

I’m over the moooon to announce that I’M OPENING FOR JOOLS HOLLAND!!! WOOOOOO!

This is a total dream come true! I’ve been a fan of Jools Holland since I was a wee lass and I can’t believe that I’m going to be sharing the stage with him and his amazing band, including the vocal powerhouse Ruby Turner who we have had the pleasure of writing with before! I’m especially excited to be playing my hometown Sheffield!! Woooo! That will be a night to remember for sure!

I'm going back into the studio!!!

It's been a crazy start to 2018. At the end of last year I got a licensing deal with a record label out in Holland and since then I've been out to the Netherlands to play live on national radio twice, met some amazing people, and 3 of my songs from my EP have been playlisted! I've also been writing with Ruby Turner, Caro Emerald and Matt Cardle as well as loads of talented up and coming artists which has been so inspiring, and as always gigging all over the shop. It's been an extremely exciting year so far and I'm very pleased to tell you that at the end of this month I will be going back into the studio to record brand new material! I've not got an exact release date yet but if you head over to my Spotify profile and click 'follow' you'll be the first people to hear these new tunes as soon as they're released ;) I'll be debuting a few new songs live (fresh out of the studio!) at one of my favourite venues The Ram Jam Club in Kingston Upon Thames on Saturday 28th April and you can get tickets at the link below.

I’m releasing a brand new 5 track EP entitled ‘When You’re Not Around’ on Friday 12th May and I cannot wait to share it with you! It’s been far too long since I released any music, and as always I’m slightly apprehensive about releasing these new songs into the wild. But us songwriters have to let our precious little fledgling songs out of the nest some time, otherwise they’ll never have the chance to fly. I’ll be launching this EP with a launch gig the evening before the release on 11th May. Tickets are going on sale next week, but for now pop it in yer diaries! xx Kat

Kat Eaton live at The Greystones, Sheffield (23/6/16)

I am excited to announce that I’m playing in my hometown Sheffield on 23rd June!

Nearly a year ago we played a sold out show at The Greystones and it was the best gig I’ve ever done! It was so good to see so many familiar faces after a year of living in London, and I was incredibly touched that so many people turned up!

This year we are back with a vengeance, playing a whole new set of original material, including my new single ‘The Joker’ from my debut album coming soon!

I can’t wait to see you all again. A year is way too long to wait! 

Advance tickets are £8.50 each, or £10 on the door. There are also a few tickets at the venue behind the bar. Email me at info@kateaton.com for advanced tickets.

23/6/16 - Live at The Greystones, Sheffield

Almost a year ago in July ‘15 we sold out The Greystones, as part of the ‘Giving It Up Tour’. For those who were there you’ll remember how much fun we had! For those who weren’t - don’t worry! We’re coming back!

I cannot wait to play The Greystones on Thursday 23rd June. As some of you will know its my favourite venue in Sheffield and the last gig we did there was the best gig of my life! It was so good to see so many familiar faces in the crowd, and I really hope you can all make it again this year :)
