i'm putting all my faith in the fanfic writers 😭🙏
I try to console myself by thinking: Well, those of us who write fanfics will finally hold up a part of the fandom. But why did it have to be this way? 💔 #SaveTheAcolyte

The comments on Amandla's instagram is heartbreaking. it's such a shame the supporters of this show voices are being drowned out by those that call themselves "real star wars fans"
history is repeating itself.

Imagine if the clone wars got the same treatment as the acolyte.
the clone wars received an incredible amount of hate and backlash when it first came out but the creators knew what they were doing and kept going. the fandom hated Ahsoka's character so much but she went on to become so loved that she now has her own live action series. All the clone wars needed was time and it was the same with the prequels
The acolyte had its faults like every other star wars project but to not even give it the time to develop into something great is so insulting. I really think we've missed out on something great now due to the absolute toxicity of this fandom.

Couldn't of said it better myself.
i honestly believe this fandom will never change and it's shame, unfortunately the treatment of Jake and Hayden, and the prequels in general are being repeated 20 years later with the Acolyte and it's cast members. I'm truly disappointed.
No one is going to silence me
No, Star Wars The Acolyte wasn’t perfect, and it’s not the best of Star Wars. In fact, nothing in this franchise has been perfect, not even The Mandalorian (I’ve just thrown three scorpions at myself, but oh well).
The Acolyte was like breathing fresh air after YEARS of repetitive content focused on: The Empire, Skywalker family, Rebellion, and that’s it.
The Acolyte was a series that reignited a spark and charm in people who had distanced themselves a bit—or a lot—from SW due to the toxicity or simply because they no longer connected with the new content.
The Acolyte made MANY women interested in Star Wars thanks to the fact that it was made and written by a woman who KNOWS what we really like, and that’s why it delivered a tremendous Female Gaze.
The Acolyte DOES deserve or deserved a second season. But as always, they’ve shown what their priorities are: to continually cater to the toxic crowd and the 40+ men who want to keep living in nostalgia and are stuck in The Empire Strikes Back."

This really disappoints me, the Star Wars fandom can be far too negative. I know some people including myself who genuinely enjoyed this show and wanted to see where it went next

Me watching Obi wan fuck Vader up in the Kenobi series:
Star Wars plot armor is so funny because what other franchise is there where I can say I know they'll survive because I literally already saw their big flashy death scene.
"They can't die! They're not scheduled for at least another decade!"

Every time i read a good fan fic i'm always inspired to do a little doodling, might start posting them more often if you guys like them lol
this one was inspired by @snips2112 fic "That Familiar, Yet Unfamiliar Feeling"
i'm really enjoying reading this fic and i do recommend it to any rexsoka fans! it's set just after order 66 and also doesn't interrupt canon. It's slow burn but so far has blessed us with this scene of rex and ahsoka watching the sun set, it was described so beautifully by the author that i just had to bring to life ❤️
(this drawing isn't finished but i'll get to it at some point😂😂)

I think the idea is that Satine never told Obi Wan to insure he wouldn't get in trouble with the Jedi council but the idea that he's just a kid that's been taken in by Satine does make more sense to me😂
As for Obi Wan not noticing through the force: Vader was in the same room as Leia multiple times in A New Hope and didn't even bat an eyelid! i suppose anakin and obiwan are just clueless when it comes to this sort of thing lol
What are people’s opinion on the Korkie being Obi wan’s son theory? I’m not sure how I feel about it honestly though I must admit it is possible, I’m curious about what you guys think about it

Can Star Wars do a "what if?" series like Marvel to cure my pain please 🙏
imagine, a world where Fives lives leading to Palpatines demise. Being able to see things like Anakin and Padmé raising Luke and Leia
A world where order 66 never happened 😭

Just take a moment to imagine family dinners at Obi-Wan and Satine's place if nobody died and everyone was happy.
Like, on one hand you'd have Korkie and Bo-Katan. On the other, you'd have the entire Skywalker clan plus Ahsoka. Then, after the twins have grown up, add in Han and Chewbacca (and Mara Jade if we're counting Legends). And either Luke or Bo would eventually bring Din and Grogu along...
This is 100% a "we don't talk politics at the dinner table!" family. Like, they've finished all the wine by the end of the starters, there's an argument going on somewhere, gratuitous misuse of the Force occurring left right and centre, Bo and Ahsoka in the corner spilling the hottest tea in the galaxy, Anakin is freaking out that his daughter's dating a smuggler, something's probably on fire.
The newest additions to the family feel so welcomed and also slightly scared.
And Satine and Padmé just look at each other like "Yes, regrettably these are our beloved idiots."
