A random character design that I threw together a couple of days ago.  She has no name, and the entity that inspired her is so conceptually different that it’s almost comical.  So... I don’t rightly know what to call her.  Some sort of cyborg or android, maybe?  All I can say with certainty is what certain features of hers are.

Those slightly stylized legs have flip-out miniature jets, while her shoulders end in emitters that allow her to create “arms” from electricity.  My attempts to edit the picture ruined the sidebar displaying the active “lightning arm.”

Kinda basic editing work with the PC done to her, but I managed to tweak that Corrupted Medicine Doc further & even color her.  I might try to do something more with her later, but for now, I’m pretty pleased with her.

This is now officially a gift for that cool cat Herring.

I’ll see if I can’t crank out one of your own creations the next time.

I’m not inactive.  Just a touch distracted with basically all aspects of life.

I actually got the idea for this one while working on one of my other pieces.  A tic inspired by someone I’ve been following on here for a while, and I essentially combined the physical nature of their android girls with a random Super Sentai character I just happened to have saved.  So now this TimeRangers MotW got turned into one of those gynoids.

I think it was called Corrupted Medicine Doc.  Might put up a color version shortly.

Closest thing I could do to make a gift for gynoidherring, since I’m nowhere -near- skilled enough to adequately make proper fanart of their own characters.  Think I’d do ‘em a disservice if I tried to do a piece of one of theirs.

A bit of a dunce, too: I’m not exactly sure how to let ‘em know I made this for them.  Not exactly a social butterfly, I am.

I really, really, really need inspiration.  I’ve spent the last hour being entertained by some comics (those awesome little 4komas you can find) and almost desperately want to make one of my own.  That’s why I am sitting there, at a desk, looking tired-annoyed at my PC monitor.  Possibly in the process of drawing this exact picture.

The problem is: what the blazes will I make the topic about?

Random Thoughts

I’ve no clue what to do next.  I’m kinda just thinking on it, but, despite having original content, fanart, and even the occasional doofy Let’s Play, I’m actually at a loss.  Maybe an attempt at a comic?  Or perhaps something involving some random items/equipment... I don’t know.  Oh well.  Something will come to me, probably.

And for some fun, the closest thing to -me- that I’ve ever drawn.

That is “Kasathra”, the tired hand behind the creation of everyone in the Tumblr.  And I look -exactly- that tired in everyday life.  My most enthusiastic has me look like a particularly energetic zombie, and those eyes are completely on-point with that.

On a side note, I would actually -love- to wear that ridiculous an outfit.  Because, good lord.  That one would be a head-turner of the “The hell -is- that guy supposed to be?!” kind.

I think this is the first real piece of fanart I’ve ever done.  And of everything I could’ve picked, it was Granga and his mech from Starfox.  Granted, I took a -bit- of artistic liberty in drawing them both, but, eh.  Sometimes that happens.

Though, really.  Why Granga?

And it took some two hours before I realized that I forgot his mech’s undercarriage cannons.  Crapcakes.

It’s rare, but I do color pieces.

Just thought I’d give that pic of the Emperor and his (very) random moment of cheery summoning some colors.

Just because you’re -supposed- to be the Big Bad for a literal empire that can be created on a whim doesn’t mean you’re obligated to be an evil monster -all- the time.

The Infinite Emperor remembered something else from his previous life, and unlike the kedama from before, he actually remembered the creatures’ names.  Appropriately, the evil mastermind wasted no time in creating several of them.  So now, besides a kedama rolling about the inside of Dionysus, there are at least these five yukkuri doing the same thing.  And understandably, a few of his older, more combat-capable creations have begun to question their leader’s sanity.

The conversation where he had to explain himself to Iona later on was amusing.

I don’t know...I just don’t.

The Infinite Emperor is standing there, creating one of his magic squares, when this little ball of fuzz appears in his hand.  No one expects the kedama from Touhou, after all.

All three of them can’t quite seem to fathom the odd little critter.  The Infinite Emperor in particular is quite lost at its appearance.  Leeandra, the little girl dangling on his shoulder, just seems bemused by it.  Maybe she’s contemplating asking the Emperor to keep it as a pet?

Iona: ...What on earth is that?

The Emperor: ...I know it, but...I can’t quite remember it.  This, uh...this isn’t what I was trying to create.

Lee: ...It’s kinda cute.  Weird, but cute.

One of the Infinite Emperor’s closest confidantes.

Her name’s Iona, and she’s more or less an artistic rendering of an angel made manifest.  Granted, this one’s an odd variant on the idea, and quite curiously she is considered the one closest to the army’s creator.  Iona simply hasn’t shared her own opinion on the matter, nor does she care to.

And here he is, “The Mad God: The Infinite Emperor.”

Not exactly a god, though.  A human blessed with the power to create, cursed with disillusionment of the people and societies around him, and the knowledge that comes with remembering a past life.  Not only that, but the “Mad God” later gives himself an injection of -something- I have yet to work out (we’ll just call it an evil McGuffin for now,) resulting in a dramatic increase to his power to create, the stamina he has when using that power, and physical changes that allow him to effectively “cast off” his humanity.  Hence the weird sclera of his eyes.

Those magic squares.  Accuracy is a right kick in the teeth, let me tell you.  At least I didn’t put the “I’m going to end the world” magic square that, blessedly, is just floating about in my head right now, under his feet.  I couldn’t type this if I did.

Does he seem less “dramatic” in appearance to any of his creations?

Warlord Kigen.

Another oni, like Koro, but much older, larger, and far more experienced.  It’s appropriate that he’s another of the Infinite Emperor’s Hands.  Despite being such a brutal-looking entity, Kigen is an intellectual first and foremost.

That little clock on his left shoulder is an allusion to one of his unique powers: time manipulation.  A broken-sounding power in description, I admit.

...I hate noticing things after I’ve uploaded them.  I missed one of Kigen’s armor delineations for his right shoulder.  OH WELL.

Shikyo.

An older, more veteran individual in the Infinite Empire.  She and her twin brother split the role of being one of the Infinite Emperor’s advisors.  Additionally, the duo are a phenomenal tag-team: both are skilled in combat and swordplay, though her brother prefers to get in close, while she prefers to fight at range.  Not to say that either one is terrible at the opposite form of battle, of course.  That’s just what they like more.

I’ll get around to drawing her twin brother eventually.

Did I get carried away again?

This is Shēnhǎi, Lièrén’s older sister and, perhaps confusingly, Raiu’s mother.  If I could explain the bizarre connections in my head, believe me, I would.

Nevertheless, her (possibly overdone) appearance should hint that she is an elegant and powerful woman.  At the same time, however, she should also come across as someone whose royal lineage doesn’t immediately suit her.  I’m hoping the mess of Caribbean-inspired hair decorations helped this a bit.

Makeup is such a mind-numbing pain.  I worry that she, and everyone woman I’ve drawn with any makeup, looks ridiculous.

All I’ve chosen to call this walking thunderstorm is “Raiu.”

I am -pleased- with her design.  -Maybe- a bit detail-heavy, and certain aspects of those details are lost in a pure pencils piece, but still pleasing all the same.  That cybernetic forearm is a bit that I admit I questioned adding, though.

I just realized those little static bolts just as easily resemble cracks in the paper.  I might want to flesh those out later on.
