A few years ago I ordered pizza and tried to pay the delivery driver with a $50. I didn’t know that they usually don’t have that much change but it was all I had so I ended up paying in all coins and still ending up a few dollars short but the driver was really cool and paid the rest for me. A few days later the driver came through Wendys where I worked and I gave them a free frosty.

Fast forward to now, I work at the pizza place I ordered from. I was kinda sad to realize that that driver didn’t work for them anymore because they were always really friendly and usually the one to deliver my food back when I ordered really often(like often enough that even two years after I stopped ordering from them the GM knew what my order was when he first heard my name again)

Then yesterday I was talking to Dylan, someone I’ve become friends with since working there who happens to be trans. And we discovered that he was the one who paid for my food and delivered to me all the time but I didn’t recognize him because it was before he started transitioning and he didn’t realize it was me because I moved and he knew me more by my address.

But he got super fucking excited that it was me who gave him the frosty. At the time I was somewhat anxiety worried that they didn’t recognize me when I gave them the frosty but I guess he took it and went back to the store and bragged that he got free ice cream and was super happy with it. Then all day today he went around telling everyone the story about how I gave him free ice cream and he’s just super excited about the whole thing and it’s hilarious and adorable
