Look at this physical pain chart, and consider your typical day. I have chronic pain due to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, meaning on any day my muscles and joints are likely compressed or stressed in some manner even without doing anything, and thus are sensing pain signals. I usually rest at a 2-4 on this scale, personally, so on average I guess that's a 3.
So I'm curious, people in my general area on here,
*if you're at an 8 or more on a typical day, you very likely are at a 10 on several days and should be or likely are receiving intensive care. I sympathize with you heavily if you're this bad off, and I hope you and your doctor(s) find an effective treatment sooner than later. 🫂
For everyone else who is reporting above a 0, please do remember that extreme difficulty doing all tasks is effectively inability to do some tasks. If you're at a point where everything is doable but takes extreme effort, then there are almost certainly bigger tasks you can't do right now that you're not thinking about. Don't fall into the trap of thinking you're fine just because you can technically do everything you need to, even if it's hard; high pain tolerance is not the absence of pain or difficulty. Please be honest with yourself when answering this, I speak from personal experience.

Passing moments?
Old lady at the bus stop smiled at me and asked me how I was doing
Was on the bus and 3 other girls sat down right by me - two across from me, one right next to me - and they didn't seem to pay me any mind at all
Man walking a dog pulled his dog away from me, saying "don't bother that young lady, she's busy"
#i love little moments like this#just brief interactions between fellow humans minding our business but appreciating and respecting the presence of another#we're all background characters in someone else's story#and I just think that's so cool

are twinks who go to bear-related events the "straight boyfriend at pride" of the bear world? i don't go to enough irl bear events to know for sure but i am curious if that discourse exists at all in real life, cause it's really funny to me.

Read enough stories featuring characters who very notably wear glasses, and you start to notice certain trends in romantic scenes.
#i can understand in the specific case of people who wear glasses for long distance vision#as taking glasses off can limit vision to immediate surroundings and make things intimate#but the stronger the prescription and the higher the actual need for the glasses#the less it makes sense#plus it's like super rude to take someone's aide device without explicit permission#plus plus the idea that “no glasses = prettier” is ableist and also wrong lmao#glasses can complement faces really well to the point of enhancing appeal#if you can't understand that you're weak
