It feels like Arceus is far more enigmatic and doesn't quite confirm nor deny that the Pokemon creation myth is canon or not in the original Japanese text. It also doesn't call Giratina "the banished pokemon" but instead 暴れ者 = roughneck or brutal or aggressive.

And the "Primordial Chaos" battle is known as "Origin" because.. yeah they're all in origin forms, and they are all the symbols of the creation of the universe: Space, Time, Antimatter, and a whole lotta chaos.

Look, Pokemon confirmed in the same main series games that there's scientific evidence for the Big Bang, but that these deity Pokemon are still important in a sense, but...

Humans just assume a lot about them that might not be true at all. Arceus just speaks like a very polite, personable, but very old and wise being that is fond of you. Giratina is aggressive, but it was Volo who confirmed, was the one who made it open the rift, like giving a bad idea to a rather miffed and territorial dragon.

I don't think Volo could have changed anything if he defeated Arceus. I don't think Cyrus nor Volo truly understood what Arceus and the dragons can do or what they do or WHY they're here.

I don't think ANY of us can.

And I think that was the purpose of PLA. Arceus and the dragons are, and will always be, mysterious creatures. Dangerous, at times, but also potential friends.

(Basically Akari falls to Hisui as a ten year old and gets adopted by the Ginkgo Guild, and as a result of growing up alongside Volo and also her traumatic memory loss, ends up slightly more unhinged than usual. Volo, for his part, actually ends up significantly more well-adjusted now that he's got a childhood sweetheart. Ginter is just trying to deal with both of these idiots. He is so tired.)

Man I pick the weirdest music to write/edit to sometimes. Yesterday it was to a combination of Midnight Oil and Eurovision compilations. Today it's apparently gonna be a Swedish 90's pop hits playlist. Who even knows what tomorrow's music is gonna be.

Hey so Chapter 25 is up early!

To make a long story short I've had a long weekend and I thought it'd be nice to upload this before bed on Sunday instead of Monday morning, because that way I get to wake up to the serotonin of some nice comments. Also time zones.
