┋ 蒼炎⋙—.Surprise permeated his expression for a moment; surprise, but not displeasure. He licked at the edge of his mismatched mouth, chasing the echo of Taishiro’s kiss with a tongue that stalled for once. He hadn’t expected that of the Hero, but after the fact, perhaps it was a little risky on the blond’s part as well, to give him a taste.

     Antagonizing FatGum was an indulgent pursuit of his of late. It availed him a means by which to vent the discordant energy he felt towards Taishiro’s efforts to comprehend and advise him. It provided a resilient target with whom he could refine his technique, and there was always the chance that he’d run into an unexpected success and they’d either gain a very useful contact, or they’d at least be down a formidable hero opponent. Most of the time, it was just idle scuffling to no real result. FatGum was seemingly indefatigable when it came to combat, but he never seemed to be outright determined to murder Dabi, either, so he had to wonder if the blond wasn’t as opposed to being haunted by the Blue Flame as he should have been.

 Previously, he’d excavated an intriguing, but tactically useless detail about the BMI Hero and his susceptibility to praise and sentiment. It wasn’t something he could utilize outside of the unnecessary interactions he’d never admit to enjoying, but it had been amusing at the time. Amusing, and something else. He didn’t asses it.

  Dabi’s scarred features softened, but in a predatory way, the way a hunter’s gaze unfolded wide and dark, when the lights got low. Their scuffle was short-lived, and it had culminated with a kiss of all things. It was bewildering. Unfathomable. Had to be a joke? Hell of a taunt. Pretty cozy for a tanking maneuver. What the fuck was Taishiro thinking? Wasn't he horrid to kiss? His mouth was uneven in texture, temperature, everything; cool metal staples that sutured into too-hot skin, rough and dry. Didn't Taishiro care? Didn't it bother him? He just looked smug. How annoying. Scheming bastard. Screw this guy and his shitty tactics. This did make them even, he supposed. Taishiro got him back for being so flustered by Dabi's teasing yesterday, with this sneaky little venture. To the blond’s provocation, Dabi rolled his eyes and issued a derisive scoff. 

  ❝Whatever, that was cheap as hell. 

  Throwing around cute kiddie vernacular isn’t gonna absolve you, either. ❞

  He wasn’t interested in staying caught for long; shaking the Hero’s concentration was an immediate priority. His thoughts were racing in diverging directions, but the need to escape them, Taishiro, and the heavy agitation at his chest was paramount. His facade barely faltered, even so. Canting his head to the side a bit, his inquiry snaked almost sweetly through porcelain teeth,    

 ❝You put your mouth on all the bad guys you wanna catch, or are you admitting I’m a special case, hero?❞

┋ 蒼炎⋙—.Referring to Hawks’ character in general, since I did a little more specifying for Turtle’s Hawks already, Dabi DOES recognize that Keigo is handsome and charming, and whatever else works to disarm the public in general and at large. He hates it when Hawks decides to wear or display Endeavor merch, but that’s where the blond’s bad taste stops, really. The rest of the time he manages to be eye-catching seemingly without effort, and Dabi indulges in a few extra glances every now and then.  

FRIENDSHIP LEVEL: 💗 (how close a friend they consider them)

┋ 蒼炎⋙—.A nearly impossible objective, friendship. He has no faith in Hawks’ loyalty, no belief in his sense of autonomy, and no end to the mistrust that steeps his thoughts whenever Hawks is considered. Dabi remains suspicious of the Wing Hero, in spite of how dedicated Hawks appears to be to the League, and the Liberation Front. Still, his guard doesn’t lessen for a moment.  

SEXUAL DESIRE: 💔 (wanting to have sex with them)

┋ 蒼炎⋙—.Without trust and in consideration of how much is at stake, it’s unlikely that he entertains the prospect of physical intimacy with someone who is very much capable of killing him should the opportunity arise -- when he can’t even ascertain beyond a doubt the man’s loyalties. Worse, he doesn’t think Hawks has really rescinded his loyalty to the Commission. While Hawks might be sexually desirable under the right circumstances, in the absence of a truer sense of camaraderie, neither sexual interest nor romantic advancements would be realized.  

ROMANTIC INTENT: 💗 (hoping for a romantic relationship)

┋ 蒼炎⋙—.Though his familiarity with Keigo might have provided some measure of groundwork for a softer interaction, the fact that he feels inclined to keep his knowledge of Hawks’ name and some mutual awareness of each other a secret dissuades that from taking place. It would require a great deal of plotting, interaction, and intent to bridge the differences and conflicts between Dabi and Keigo’s respective identities.

┋ 蒼炎⋙—.Won’t step softly here, he thinks Zoen is hot af. She’s edgy, angry, scarred to high hell, wears a great coat and wears a great coat very well. She’s got pointy ends everywhere and even though he may issue a rude comment every now and then about her state of Undeath, the fact that she’s a real zombie is incredibly cool to him -- a zombie-by-proxy? He’s not sure how many taboos he’s busting through when he watches her doing her Deathlord thing, but he doesn’t really give a damn? She’s cute.   

FRIENDSHIP LEVEL: 💗💗💗💗💗 (how close a friend they consider them)

┋ 蒼炎⋙—.He, very covertly, adores Zoen. She’s a partner in crime, a fellow spook, a reflection of himself in a broken mirror. They’ve been cursed, killed, thrown away, found wanting, and they’re still around, in spite of it all.  Her strength is the real deal in his eyes, and he doesn’t feel abberant at all when he’s with her. They’ve targeted their sires in a very direct path of retribution (he does envy that Zoen accomplished her patricide while he’s still working on his pet project of a similar nature) and they’re completely unsuited for conventional civilization. They have a miserable strength that survives the odds, and they can talk for hours about the most macabre of grievances, both laughing because those childhood tears just won’t flow like they used to. Zoen is a kindred spirit by all definitions, and Dabi is very attached. He would not be Okay™ if anything tried to separate her from him. He also takes it very seriously that Tiris likes him.

┋ 蒼炎⋙—.Dabi won’t hold anything back when it comes to Zoen, and that includes intimacy. She’s one of the few individuals wherein the condition of his body doesn’t even come to mind when he’s with her. And he would appreciate every ragged edge of her in turn. He’s not worried about either of them being unappealing, dangerous, or however fragile. Any ugliness that others might accuse them of is burned away within the seething intent they have to do things their way, as wildly and as destructively, and as madly as they’d like. And he would take the same impassioned reverie and commit it to a physical entanglement with her. The clumsiness, the hesitation, the doubt and the turbulent emotions that might arise would all be recognized without an ounce of resentment. He doesn’t expect them to be good at this kind of thing, but making spectacular mistakes is something they share, and he finds it strangely appealing.

ROMANTIC INTENT: 💗💗💗💗💗 (hoping for a romantic relationship)

┋ 蒼炎⋙—.This is perilously close to having already been achieved? His affections for Zoen are genuine and getting more brazen by the minute. It’s to the point that when he sees her, his mood is instantly improved and he feels almost inspired to cause problems that might appeal to her notice. He’d survive hell if she asked him to, and he’d murder pretty much anyone who caused her grief. There’s a possessiveness in his tone when he refers to her, and he stores up observations and anecdotes to regale her with when their paths cross again, even if he rarely fails to project a largely dispassionate demeanor when actually in her company. He’s got a profound crush, and he’s still testing to see how she feels in response. Dabi’s not even sure how a wraith processes attraction, but he’s fond of the idea that if they dated, he could call himself legitimately haunted.
