I’ve been thinking (which i know is terrible) but why the fuck do people stan Kaminari but absolutely despise Mineta when he is just as bad as Mineta? He makes the same “jokes” and even participated in Mineta’s plans. Maybe there’s some defining differences in the 4th season or even in the manga but currently where i am in the series there isn’t any.

Kaminari is actually really smart and observant. he’s goofy not stupid. when he short circuits, it is the only time he “is dumb”

he gets anxiety attacks before tests, its not that he’s dumb, he just crumbles under the pressure of tests. scores don’t determine your intelligence

yeah he’s reckless but that doesn’t equal stupidity

he’s actually really good with literature and had a pretty big vocabulary.
