Hey punks, got something nice for ya
Today marks the 40th anniversary of the final Crass gig, and to commemorate it old Penny's dug out a bootleg and polished it up enough to be listenable. Pay what you want, no track divides, haven't heard it myself yet so it could still sound like shit but whatever, the final cry of punk desperation shouldn't sound pleasant.

STEVE IGNORANT -- PHIL FREE -- N.A. PALMER -- PETE WRONG -- PENNY RIMBAUD.
PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on English anarcho punk band CRASS (sans Eve Libertine), performing live at St Phillips Community Centre, Swansea, Wales, UK, on September 24, 1981. 📸: Steve Rapport.
Didn't know more of these Swansea shots existed, so, these are a happy accident of sorts. Where the hell is Evie Libertine, though? 1981 had seen the release of the "Penis Envy" album after all, but you never see her in any shots at this particular gig.

It's hard to live in the country
In the present state of things
Your body gets pulled right back
You get a terrible urge to drink
At three a.m.
The stick people recede
The locals get up your nose
And leather soles stick on cobble stones
