writeblr intro 🤍
hiiiii 👋🏻 i'm red / gull (it/its) and this is my (new) writeblr! i remade from @kahvilahuhut because i couldn't really reconnect with my old blog, and felt like i needed a fresh new start. so, here we are!
i like to draw and write for fun, and dream of making either a novel or a graphic novel of my beloved original story that lives in my head rent free. though, i am also a master's student (in social policy) at the same time (at least rn) so i'm also pretty busy and can't sadly be into that all the time. oh well, it is like that sometimes.
i especially enjoy scifi and speculative fiction! books i've recently loved are the southern reach series by jeff vandermeer, the murderbot series by martha wells, and this is how you lose the time war by amal el-mohtar and max gladstone :) i also love cats, coffee and video games! :3c

Cynosure (& it's sequel Periphery): light scifi / drama / thriller i guess? / corporate dystopia kind of thing format: either a novel or a graphic novel. or a mix of these. we'll see. :3c point of view: third person pov, three different characters
After another fight breaks out between two megacorporations and ends in casulties, the Earth Board forces them to work together and prove that they can behave - or else they'll end up without money.
The corporations pick a few projects to collaborate on, one of which is an old idea that has been collecting dust in the storage. Problem is, the project seems doomed from the start... especially when they bring a person who was responsible for it ending up closed in the first place.
Additionally to the main story, I also tend to post oneshots and other things about the characters from Cynosure, or about the lore, or the corporations. Teehee.
I also have other wips too i promise. this one just occupies my brain at this moment lmao
