Together with the group we decided to create stop motion using my swan sculpture. We selected 14 photos from the internet to recreate the movement of the swan's wings. Then, using a blackboard and white chalk, we painted each position of the wings one by one. We took 14 different photos. Using a phone camera, we took each photo one by one.

I decided to create a swan sculpture from combined materials. I prepared: elastic wire, aluminum foil, plastic bottle, newspapers, masking tape, elastic bandages, felt sheet, beads, thread and needle, old sock :) And go to work!
I was fascinated by swans, so I focused on these beautiful birds.
A mute swan is a beautiful bird that is a symbol of fidelity in a very literal sense. A pair of mute swans stays together until the end of their days. The birds build a nest together, migrate together, spend the winter together and generally do everything together. The average body weight of mute swans oscillates between 11 and 15 kg. Individuals in the upper weight limit are really very large, strong birds, whose wingspan reaches up to 2.4 m, and the body length oscillates between 1.6 and 1.7 m. These dimensions should make an impression, especially if we take into account the fact that in this case we are talking about an animal that flies and has hollow bones. The bird's plumage is white, and the older the swan, the whiter it is.
My 5-person group number 12 : me- Malgorzata (K00325961), Rachel (@K00320502), Aoibhe (@K00319755), Juliet (@K00319664), Ava (@K00324785) explored the King John's Castle area.
On the first day we went for a walk to collect materials for Brief.
In the first project in LSAD we were given a description entitled "Radius". Each group was assigned a district in the city center, which we focused on. Our task was to discover the designated places: people, buildings, structures, sounds of the city, flora and fauna, lights, sky, earth, signs, walls, shops, caffes. All these elements create a living, changing place and observations and reflections from personal impressions after exploring the city were captured in a creative way, creating a joint project.
