Hi!
This blog is pretty much dead, but I wanted to post a short update.
Onerous Cimmerian (this series) is being turned into a novel
I detracted so much from being an AU that I decided to go for publishing for this
Since the newest chapter, I’ve written a lot more.
You can follow my writing blog (@sarah-a-c-author) for further updates
This blog will not shut down

Revelations and Decisions
Buy me a coffee?
A/N: back with more Onerous! Woot! It’s 1:07am and I don’t know how much logical sense this made, but I like it, and you find out a ton of stuff, so, yeah.
Warnings: uninformed consent in context of medical experimentation, mention of striking people (not terribly bad)
Word count: 1466 words

Save Me
Buy me a coffee?
A/N: yes, I’m writing this at 12:42am while listening to The Black Parade. Um, have some Onerous Cimmerian?
———
Alto lay in his bed, staring up at the white ceiling.
A car accident. Of course that would be why he’s lying in a hospital, watching the moonlight cross the ceiling.
He’d sent everyone away, even Chase. All he wanted was to be alone.
He couldn’t remember how he got here, nor could he remember why he had even gone out in the first place.
He knew he wanted to be away from the house, from its curse. Bad things happened in the place, and he had never wanted to be a part of it.
Ever since the family had moved back in, life had been a wreck; he should know, he had killed his family twenty times before that.
Was it really worth staying alive? Wouldn’t it be much easier to just leave?
“Alto, it’s still not your time,” he turned to see Death standing beside him, running a cold hand through his hair.
“I can’t keep showing up and reminding you of this. I have other people to attend to.”
He blinked, a tear falling from his face, and she was gone.
Reaching over to his side, he picked up the phone and dialled a number.
“Hello?”
“Chase? I need you to help me find a therapist.”
“Wha-?”
“I need you to save me.”

Echoes
New Swap AU chapter!! Still trying to come up with a better name for this series.
Word count: 852 words
Additional note: I’m not putting this into the tag anymore. Since I came back to this, it has been my whole original work, so I feel weird putting it into the tag.
Warnings: none that I’m aware of. Please let me know if I missed one.

The vlogger ran a hand through his hair, watching as the limp strands covered an eye.
There was so much oil in his hair that it looked almost black.
“Just another December,” he murmured as he tugged his cap on and adjusted his shirt.
The house still smelt faintly of pine and turkey; he wriggled his nose as he went to his room.
Whipping his cap off, he changed clothes and looked at his desk.
His phone sat on the surface, staring up at him in an almost accusatory way.
He pulled his cap back on, attempting to tuck his hair under the brim.
Walking out of the room, Henrik von Schnapple left his phone behind.

The world spun around him, jeering and insulting.
Where is Malvern? Why did he leave?
Faces of unfamiliar people leered at him from the surrounding darkness, eyes full of hate.
Hands tore at his clothes, ripping his shirt and pulling his shoelaces.
Stop! Please! He tried to protest, but nobody could read the words he wrote.
Freak! Weirdo! Demon!
Juxta fell to the ground, pressing shaking hands over his ears to silence the voices.
Malvern, please help me.

He stared at his reflection in the mirror; at his longer locks with washed out green streaks.
His eyes held a pain, a sadness that might never be erased.
Picking up a pair of scissors, he held a strand of hair up and braced the scissors against it.
Lock after lock of hair fell to the sink, putrid green-brown patches littering the porcelain.
He picked up the hair dye, inspecting the shamrock green fluid inside.
After the second rinse, he looked back at the mirror.
Blue eyes stared back at him.
His hair clung to his head, water still dripping.
Lifting a towel, he began to dry his hair. He walked out of the bathroom, rolling his sleeves up as he went.
Alto was a new man.
