Last weeks in Germany

With all those thoughts and feelings the time passed and i only had a couple of weeks left. During those weeks i had to work for a big company in Germany to save some money for my adventure and it’s always good to have more money than running out of it in a few weeks. Loads of things came up before my departure date: which tracking shoes are the best, what kind of backpack is big enough to fit in all my clothes for nearly a year and especially what kind of clothes do i really need? I also had to apply for the visas and get in touch with my internship company in New Zealand. Luckily i had the organisation AIFS and of course my mom who helped me with my insurance, working Visas and the rest.
It’s hard to figure out what you need for such a journey where you travel to different countries with even different climate zones. To be honest a lot of the stuff i packed i never really used so just pack what you need! Always pack a couple of shorts, pants, t-Shirts, raincoat, boardshorts, underwear and socks. Only if you travel to a really cold country you should pack winter clothes but if you go somewhere around New Zealand and Australia you should be fine with a hoodie and a raincoat. After i sold out what i really gonna need and my work in the company was done i could relax and enjoy my last weeks with friends and family. It was not easy to know you wouldn’t see your best mates and family for such a long time but always remember: ᴛʜᴇʏ ᴡɪʟʟ ᴀʟᴡᴀʏs ʙᴇ ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ ғᴏʀ ʏᴏᴜ ɴᴏ ᴍᴀᴛᴛᴇʀ ᴡʜᴇʀᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ᴀʀᴇ!
A lot of things to organise before you go but never give up then one morning you will wake up and it’s departure day... ✈️

Introduktion

Hey there! First of all my name is Louis and im 19 years old I’ve been traveling for nearly ten months now and I really want to tell you guys how awesome this experience is and especially why all of you should do it as well!! it's my first time that I post something like that online but i will see what happens...
I know that out there are thousands of travel bloggers but are they all so young as I am and tell you how travelling “really” is?
After I finished school last year I knew already my biggest dream is it to go abroad and have the adventure of my life. Of course i was scared and of course I didn't knew how it is to travel for such a long time by my own but still here I am after nearly 10 months and I don't regret one single second of it. For me Australia and New Zealand were always the most attractive counties so I decided to do both of them. In my case I Used a organization to book my flights and my different visas because I wanted to do an internship and a few weeks as a volunteer in New Zealand. Everything was booked and fixed only around 10 weeks left before my departure soi worked for eight weeks in the production for a big company to save some money for my start in New Zealand. But what should you pack in your backpack, which backpack is the best, which shoes do i need, how many hoodies do I need and what I miss my Family and Friends too much???
I had literally a lot of questions in my head and especially when my departure came closer and closer my thoughts were a big mess! At this date I also got a girlfriend and it’s horrible to know maybe we won't see each other like this again and can we really stay together for such along time...?
That were my thoughts and problems in the couple of weeks before I finally took the plane to New Zealand. I hope you enjoyed that and are keen to read more!
