Man, Sen was harder to draw this time. It wasn't until I was really done with it that she didn't look terrible in my eyes. It also took this commission for me to realize that Sen has a nose piercing. You think as someone also with a nose piercing (albeit not a septum one), I would have found that our earlier, but whatever.

I like to think that once MC has a pact with the brothers, their eyes turn the color of their respective sin whenever MC is indulging in that sin/using their power. I love the color coding but also how many scenarios or fics crop up from it in my brain.

Imagine Mammon is worried about his cooking not being good enough for you until he sees your eyes go red as you take your first bite.

Or Lucifer sees you being insulted by a demon and hesy worried you won't stand up for yourself, so he looks for the flash of green in your eyes.

Or Belphie makes a *questionable* noise while he stretches after waking up and barely catches the glint of pink before you turn away.

And another order filled. I do apologize about how long this took. I had it done for a bit but got caught up in the storm that is life (totally not posting this while I'm supposed to be doing work due tomorrow) ANYWAY! D1 Mhin as per your request. I know you also said Vere could work in another ask but I felt the board needed another Mhin since it's been a little bit.

Man, this was the easiest of all the emotes I've done so far. There was no effort needed. They're almost completely covered, which means no need for hair nor clothes, and they needed minimal coloring. And they look adorable to boot! Well, enjoy this! I have two other requests to fill (both of which are, ironically, Mhin's) and then I'll be caught up again.

Snippet from an Unwritten Story

Kalim cradles the body close, tucking the small head - barely the size of his hand - against his chest. His little brother doesn't protest. His little brother will never breathe another word again. His little brother can no longer breathe.

Perhaps, he thinks, someone called for his name. Someone tried to hold him back. But he pushed them away. His magic roiled around him, keeping the world from touching him. He walks on.

His father's office sits at the end of a long, cavernous hall. It was a trick to intimidate all guests and visitors with pomp and circumstance, wealth and power. Kalim is blind to it all, noting not a single gem as the doors to the office bang open with magical force. His father doesn't even have the good grace to look guilty.

"You promised..."

"Oh, Kalim..."

"I did... everything like you told me to. And you promised that my siblings would stay safe. If I endured - if I survived, no one would hurt them."

"... You were always a dreamer, like your mother." His father shakes his head. "You speak as if I simply let them march into our home. Everything I have ever done was to protect this family - to protect you, my son of endless grace. You would take this family to heights unknown! I... This was the only choice that I could take."

Kalim holds his brother tighter. "Don't call me son." Then he turns around and walks away.

"We are not finished speaking! Boy, that is enough foolishness from you! Return this instant!"

Kalim stops.

"I did not raise you to disrespect me! Kal-"

"I will drown you before you can bleed me dry."

And with those parting words, Kalim exits his father's study.

KEEP TRACK OF WHAT YOU PUT. don't leave things hanging.

cw: unbeta'd rambling once more, all mistakes are mine. vague references to true crime content, nothing graphic. just thinking of what would discomfort the charas, im basically throwing darts 🥴

i hc'd that kalim doesnt really get scared by ghosts and urban legends and to add onto that: i think kalim would be icked out by people with an interest in true crime.

like, the content hits uncomfortably close to his own encounters and some people frankly take a bit too much pleasure in going through all the gory details - wait, you're telling him there are people who fall asleep while listening to true crime podcasts?! on that note, some psychological thrillers (especially the 'adapted from true events' kind, compared to the 'dystopic social commentary' ones) would also fit into this category - just being plain uncomfortable to sit through, a movie/podcast/tv experience making him sick to his stomach.

i just think that kalim doesn't get the appeal at all, no matter the explanation. if someone tried to show him a few cases, he'd just be sitting in uncomfy silence.

(on the flipside, i think jamil hates horror movies with an abundance of jumpscares compared to slashers. he has an uncanny sense foretelling when they're gonna happen, but he still flinches during the actual jumpscare. bonus points if a fakeout is good, u get to see his soul jump out of his body twice.

on the topic of true crime, jamil just doesn't vibe with it, especially when it's not well-researched and/or poorly handled in its delivery. and like, he's already gotten the fearmongering-type of warnings* from the adults in his life plenty of times. he doesn't want to see it packaged in a spooky, edgy, internet detective-way, but he's more rational? understanding? of its appeal to others.)

Hey Twisted Wonderland fandom, you know what I need?

I need more content of Kalim being aware.

I need to see him understand his position in society. See him recognize this and acknowledge this and hell even say this.

And even more, I need more content of him being serious. I know Kalim is not always a ditzy boy raised in privilege. I know there is a side of him that is more mature and aware. But I never see it anywhere and when I do, it's very little and done before I know it.

I want a Kalim who knows his power and status and uses it. Who takes command and does what Kalim does and try to make things better and more bright and happier.

I can fantasize all day and create fun, random scenarios all I please, but sometimes I want to see someone else's work that follows this concept.

I adore Kalim and the potential his character has, especially in regards to other characters like Jamil. I want more content about him in this light.

If anyone has content recommendations for this, please tell me! I will sell you my soul and adore you forever if you can help me feed this Kalim type of craving in my head. Fics, arts, AUs, literally anything.
