FYI: pet peeve is people hijacking my posts. I don’t have a lot of followers, so there is no need to do that. I will lose my shit and also block you. Otherwise, please enjoy the page. :) Emergency Nurse. slightly jaded, morbid sense of humor, and trying to keep my sanity

I deactivated all my social media accounts connected to my actual identity including my up and coming art page. I effectively dropped off the face of the planet with no warning. No one noticed. Not one person.

But what if it ruptures. Then you have to, right?
The rule with tubo-ovarian abscesses is this: if it’s small enough for antibiotics to get to, then leave it alone and treat it medically. You don’t wanna go in that belly and potentially shred a bowel because everything is all inflamed and friable. If it’s big, like 6cm or more, then get interventional radiology to drain it. Long story short, don’t lap the clap!

I was being emotionally abused. I am 2 years separated and 4 months divorced.
Does anyone else feel this way???
If you are married, do you ever wonder if you made the right choice? Do you feel this disconnect? This feeling like…I don’t know….this general unhappiness when more serious conversations come up. I wish I knew if it is my depression, my ADHD. I wish I understood what changed in my decade long relationship. I wish I knew if I am the change…if I am the problem. Is this life now? I don’t understand and I don’t know.

Thoughts in the time of a pandemic #2
I hope George R.R. Martin is taking this time of social distancing to finish his damn book.

I have returned to tumblr in order to bring you “Thoughts in the time of a pandemic.”
#1: the people ignoring social distancing would 100% have fed their gremlins after midnight.

Update: oh man...I am embarrassed...had it towed....had not tried to lift it off the tire....things you only do on an hour of sleep. Luckily (or unluckily?? Really not sure which side of lucky this lands on) there actually IS something wrong. Bungee cord is wrapped so tightly around the strut, at first I was wondering what part of the car that was? LMAO 😂🤣😂🤣
Travel Nursing Adventures - Road trip to Arkansas - Day 2:
Tumblr media
This would be one of those days where someone would say “Good Morning!” to me and I might be tempted to mutter in irritation, “Yeah? What’s good about it?” The morning arrived too soon and after a restless, too short sleep. “Sleep” is actually a charitable word for what was more like a fitful nap. I brought the bunnies with me and got them a new cage for the occasion. The problem? I was exhausted by the time we arrived at the hotel, and looked at the cage in despair. It would only be natural that the bunnies refused to cooperate and get into the carrier, forcing my overweight body to do acrobatics to manage the feat that they would not perform themselves. There was no way I could handle taking the cage in to the hotel. I was lamenting possibly having to have the bunnies sleep in their carrier - a cruel fate for several hours. Upon visiting the bathroom, I realized the perk of pet friendly rooms. The bathroom was equipped with stone floors and metal door jam! Milo attempted to chew on the stone baseboard but quickly abandoned the pursuit. In addition, the pain hadn’t been redone since some pet had scratched the crap out of it. I deemed the bathroom bunny friendly but still worried about them and my mind would not allow me to abandon frequent checks on them.
The morning brought with it the smell of strong rabbit urine in the bathroom. Guess it didn’t smell enough like them and they couldn’t stand it. Awesome. I decided to deal with that once everything was packed up. What made me think that this morning would go that uneventfully, I will never know. As I approached my car, I noticed the front passenger side tire was a little low. Pictured above is the sight that awaited me when I inspected further. I wish I was asleep....
