I also love choosing fabrics to make pretty bunting, pencil cases and cosmetic bags. Just a lil step by step on how I do my fake calligraphy style lettering. ✨🖊 . . . The final picture has my name written using a (Pentel Touch) brush pen and written using my regular ink pen below.

I really wanted to learn how to make my own bias binding so I bought a set of binding tools and researched the best methods for cutting and stitching the fabric.
I found this on Pinterest and it was nice and clear https://www.seasonedhomemaker.com/making-bias-tape/
There are other ways to cut the fabric, one being a single cut method, but this left me with uneven strips so I feel it’s better to invest the time and a little waste for a cleaner finish. The best thing to do is experiment and have fun. 😊

Two different sized make up bags made from this fabulous fishy fabric. connecting the zip slider to the teeth is one of the hardest bits ;-) My favourite part is when you pull the bag through the lining and it all comes together.
