We joined our friends on a guided tour of the enchanting @stagsleapwinecellars . It was beautiful drizzling day that inspired jaw dropping views of the vineyards and caves. We ended with this mouthwatering #CelestialTastingExperience by @cheftraviswestrope and crew. I was struck by the smell of the caves and chardonay cellars. The taste of the S.L.V, & Cask 23 Cabernet Sauvignon we’re some of the best I have tried in Napa. We may have left with a few bottles. Thanks again @jesslee630, such an amazing time with you! I would give this experience 5 art brushes out of 5! 🖌️🖌️🖌️🖌️🖌️ My husband and I have been on some incredible dates… with incredible views and food. Kehinde Wiley. Know him. (Née, 1977) is an American portrait painter based in NYC. In 2017, he was commissioned by The Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery to paint President Barack Obama. Which is pictured above. In 2018, he was named in Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2018. He frequents West Africa, and has roots in Nigeria from his Yoruba father. He has recently partnered with American Express as one of two artists chosen in designing card paintings on the platinum card & their holders. #Pain #hurts... #Painting #helps As I spent months and months studying Lee Krasner, one of the benefits is understanding her, and her husband Jackson Pollock. As an artist and art historian and what I have gone through this past week, I believe I now understand their mindset, frusteration and hope. Pollock was amazingly talented, so was Kranser. Together they were art phenomenons. However, they both had their demons, successes and challenges. In the best times, and the worst. Today, as an artist, I think I understand a little more of their madness and genius of their works. Sometimes life is unexplainable. Sometimes words don't suffice.
