Niagara Falls 2019: SkyWheel
Niagara Falls 2019: SkyWheel
This 175-foot tall Ferris wheel is probably one of the most iconic attractions in Niagara Falls, aside from the falls, that is. It opened in 2006 and offers some of the best views of the American and Horseshoe Falls, and the surrounding attractions in Clifton Hill.
This is part two of a six-part series. See part one here.

Niagara Falls 2019: Around Clifton Hill
Niagara Falls 2019: Around Clifton Hill
This part of Niagara Falls is very theme park-y. Impressive place to pass the time, especially when the people you’re with are busy with their meetings.
I took these photos on September 11, 2019, when I went to Niagara Falls with a couple of my coworkers.
This is part one of a six-part series.

Quebec 2019: Chute Montmorency
Quebec 2019: Chute Montmorency
This majestic waterfalls in the Montmorency River features a suspension bridge that hangs over the crest of the falls, a steep staircase that leads to an orchard on top of a hill, a zip line, and a cable car connection. Little film fact: it was featured in the 1947 film Whispering City.

Quebec 2019: Citadelle de Québec
Quebec 2019: Citadelle de Québec
We had a little picnic in this World Heritage Site and National Historic Site is a Canadian military installation that served as a base for men of the French and British & Irish Crowns. In present day, it still serves as a base for the Canadian Armed Forces and an official residence of the monarch (Elizabeth II) and the governor general of Canada.

Quebec 2019: Vieux-Québec
We’ve been taking yearly trips to Quebec to visit our relatives and see the sights. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it seems that our plans to visit in the summer will have to be postponed. So here are some snaps from our weekend trip to New France in September last year.
We roamed around the streets of Quebec City that wonderful late summer morning. The sun gave us just the right…

I’ve seen Romeo and Juliet performed so many times, but this is the first time that I saw it in ballet form. The NBC’s rendition, choreographed by Alexei Ratmansky, is a beautiful and moving adaptation of this classic Shakespearean tale. Watching it in dance form added to the romanticism and tragedy of it all.
It was pure…

Come From Away
Come From Away at the Royal Alex. Toronto, ON. March 11, 2020.

To be honest, I don’t like the box seats here at the Royal Alexandra Theatre. The view is quite partial. Getting seats in the mezzanine would have been better. I much prefer the box seats at the Four Seasons because there you could pick the more central, albeit pricier, seats that have a better field of view. Even our clients…

Snowy UofT
University of Toronto. Toronto, ON. January 19, 2020.
Did two weeks’ worth of work in less than a day. LOL. Also, the campus looks pretty blanketed in snow until you remember that snow turns to slush, and thats really gross.

Vancouver 2018 – Day Five
This was my last full day in Vancouver before heading back home to Toronto. I took a morning stroll around the expansive Stanley Park, visited a Chinese garden, and spent the rest of the day seeing some family and friends. I wish I had more time because there was loads to see in Vancouver.

Vancouver 2018 - Day Four
Vancouver 2018 – Day Four
Vancouver is home to one of Canada’s best universities, the University of British Columbia. I took the opportunity to visit the sprawling nature-filled campus. I love the old buildings and metropolitan vibe of the University of Toronto, but being the nature lover that I am, I couldn’t help but fall in love with UBC. Here are some of the highlights of my visit.
Day 4.
9:45AM PDT. I arrived…

Vancouver 2018 - Day One
Vancouver 2018 – Day One
I can’t believe that it’s been almost 15 months since I went on a crazy adventure in Vancouver. The usually rainy city was surprisingly warm and sunny almost all throughout the weeks that I was there. I got to see some awesome places and really appreciate the natural beauty of this charming British Columbian city. Throughout this series of blog posts, I will be journaling everything that has…
