I have a theory regarding the Aeons...

Possible spoilers below\\

Do you think an all out war between Aeons and other characters might break out? Like maybe it will happen near at the end of the story.

In xianzhou update, when Jingyuan was interrogating Loucha, he mentioned that Xianzhou, himself and Jingliu are enemies of Yaoshi, the Aeon of Abundance.

And Jingliu doesn't deny it. She admits it even. And then, she talks of killing THEM. This conversation shows a possible, potential confrontation with an Aeon later in the story.

Another thing is when, we talked to Kafka after the interrogation. She reveals that, the Stellaron hunters are deliberately helping TB to form an alliance with Xianzhou. So that, they would help TB when the time comes.

And RIGHT after that, she talks of TB facing Nanook in the future Elio chose. Another confrontation with a different Aeon. Here, this is the key. The stellaron hunters probably wanted Xianzhou to help TB kill Nanook.

"It will be a brutal struggle of Aeonic proportions." If that's not hinting at war, I don't know what it is.

Kafka says that the Elio/Stellaron Hunters' main goal is to kill Nanook, where only a slim portion of possible futures succeed under specific conditions. Nanook is the Aeon of Destruction, whose purpose is to destroy the universe, which Elio can see happen if he fails. And from what we can see from this conversation, I concluded that the stellaron hunters are trying to make TB into a God, or at least a Godlike being whose powers' can rival the Aeons.

As for now, TB follows many paths, Destruction, Preservation, Harmony, and in this new 3.0 update, they will get Rememberance. I wonder if they are pulling Genshin Traveler where they restore their original power with each element? In this case, TB is collecting paths like pokemons, to gain more power little by little perhaps? I know characters can follow different paths, just like March with Preservation and Hunt paths, Danheng with the Hunt and Destruction, and Tingyun with Harmony, and Nihility. But they don't have as much as TB.

Not to mention, in the latest update, Tingyun, or rather Fugue talks about making THEM pay. This also kinda feeds my theory tbh.

"Making THEM pay" I think this also hints at war. I also have another evidence to prove that. Because, before this, they were just talking about wars just now. Countless wars happened because of Aeons before, right?

Alright, thank you for reading. I just wanted to discuss a pattern I saw with each update. I don't know if this theory or this topic is a common subject in hsr fandom, but I don't see anyone discussing anything about it at least. If this is a well-known fact at this point, this is embarrassing lol. There might be information that I might've missed or several facts that I might not know too. Correct me if you can. I would also love to hear what you guys' think about this as well :D

I guess it's not a squick just a complaint about mischaracterization: Lucifer can be over reactive and a little mean but he is not cruel and he genuinely loves his brothers!!! He loves Mammon! He got Levi into anime! He makes sure Belphie gets to RAD on time even if he has to carry him himself! He's protective of Luke! Give the man the character depth that he deserves don't just make him an asshole

No shade at all to newer writers who might have a hard time really understanding certain character nuanced (believe me, I’ve been there) but I really think it does a massive disservice to Lucifer’s character AND development over the series to just boil him down to his “Dom daddy fanservice” moments.

Also side note, while I vastly prefer “tired dad Luci” to “Dom daddy Luci,” I still find it a little annoying when people seem to forget he has a goofy streak. He’s not entirely joyless, he likes to pull very small jokes on his brothers, the difference is, they’re small because he doesn’t want to clean up the mess of a big practical joke.

It doesn't take a long time, but the magic to traverse realms is incredibly draining, both physically and mentally. It takes a long time to prepare for. The journey can take over a week to recover from. Plus, you can't seem to get a grip on the landing. It always spits you out somewhere random, usually on top of someone, with no time to land on your feet.

When you finally get to the Devildom, a minimum of seven beings immediately attach themselves to your hip. It's even more tiring. You fight to stay upright while a couple of them cling to you for dear life. The others start squabbling and pull you every which way like a game of tug-of-war. There's a lot being said at the same time, a lot of tearful reuniting, some arguing, loads of pleasantries, and plans to hang out later that are going in one ear and out the other. You're not sure which is more exhausting - this or the magic.

But at the end of the day when all is said and done, you feel safe and at home. There's a warm meal waiting for you. It's practically a feast with all of your favorites, cut into easy-to-eat bites. Your room is ready and waiting, though it's not exactly the way you left it. It's clean, with freshly laundered blankets and a small mountain of wrapped gifts on the carpet you have to step around. The closet is full of clean towels and a few new articles of clothing you haven't seen before.

There's a lineup of stuffed dolls by your pillows. Even without a card, you can tell exactly who left what plush toy. You feel ready to sleep the instant you lay down. There's additional water and snacks on the table and a truce in place that no one is to bother you until you've had a full night's rest.

That doesn't stop them from standing in the hallway to guard the door like a squad of loyal sentries. If their not-so-subtle bickering gets on your nerves, you can invite them in or chase them away.

It's a strange feeling. You never imagined that hell could be the happiest place.

For once, the Avatar of Sloth awoke before you did. He stared blearily up at the ceiling, trying to ascertain the time based on the shadows on the wall. It didn't work. It's always nighttime in the Devildom, and there were no windows, anyway.

He could easily have checked the time on his D.D.D., but that required turning the screen on, and that would have unleashed a potent ray of bright light directly into Belphegor's eyes. He didn't feel conscious enough for that yet.

Plus, it might have woken you up. You were still fast asleep, curled up in pajamas next to Belphegor. You looked so peaceful. He wouldn't mind staring at your resting figure for a few minutes. At the way your lips were ever-so-slightly parted, your hands loosely balled up on the pillow case. Belphegor counted the seconds between your breaths like one would count sheep.

It took a while for his gaze to move on from your face, which is why it took him so long to realize. "Oh."

You didn't have any blankets. No wonder you looked so cold. Belphegor could fix that. He gently maneuvered an armful of blankets, still warm thanks to his body heat, over your sleeping form. The two of you were equals so he wanted to ensure you had equal access to all the cozy coverings. Sharing the same blankets made him feel warm inside, too.

He wondered if you would wake up if he got too close. He wanted to hold you, to wrap his arms around you and have your scent envelop him. To let you know he was reliable and here for you. He wanted to know if you were dreaming, and if it was a dream about him.

Wondering these thoughts, Belphegor began to doze off again. He rolled over within minutes of falling back asleep. He pulled all of the blankets with him, becoming a Belphegor burrito, leaving you exposed once more. At the very least, he had good intentions.
