I’ve finally decided on a name for my van: Wanda! (because it sounds like wander 😊).

This morning I got up early (something I struggle to do) and watched the sunrise. Beautiful colors out at sea!

Another day at the office :) I feel really lucky that I'm able to work anywhere. I've got a mobile broadband plan that's surprisingly fast (yay!) and the solar panels are charging my computer, camera batteries, and other gear I need to work.

In June this year I spend two and a half months converting a 1986 Toyota Hiace into my home and office. In this video I show you the camper conversion process and also a tour of the finished van!

I'm now full-time living the #vanlife and working while I'm on the road. I'm a digital nomad working as a documentary filmmaker so it was important for me to have a decent desk space in the van. I'm really happy with the end result, a cozy home on wheels :)

I really like to cook so I prioritised a decent kitchen in the van. There's a food prep space on the left (the bench top is made from a bed head I found on the side of the road), a small sink with a hand pump tap that drains into a 20L jerry can underneath, and a two burner gas camping stove that I mounted to the bench. While it's still small, it's enough room to cook a nice meal with :)
