Honestly, I just want to know what caused Sakurai to fucking snap with Smash Ultimate. He does what was thought to be the impossible and brought all past fighters back.
Then after all this time of saying Ridley was too big for Smash, suddenly he changes his mind.
And then he gets K. Rool in.
Then Joker. Then Hero. Then freaking Banjo & Kazooie.
And to top it all off, the man just throws Sans in Smash as a Mii Fighter costume. Complete with Megalovania.
At what point did Sakurai see all of the memes flooding the internet and just say “Okay fuckers, let’s play”?
Like, we saw the peak of his insanity with getting Cloud in SSB4. But then after that, the man just went mad with power. What else can he do at this point? Smash has seriously peaked now and I’m both excited and scared to see how far this is going to go.

EVEN BETTER the first Villager had a stick and the second had a beam sword. The first being Frisk, the other being Chara. AND ON TOP OF THAT the stages were all ones with black backdrops--75m, Mario Bros., and Balloon Fight. All to replicate Undertale.
Sakurai and his team are absolutely wonderful and we have done nothing to deserve just how dedicated and ambitious they are.
