This tree has a cartoon nose-shaped appendage. Strange but hilarious! ... to me anyway...

I saw a woodpecker too (Hairy woodpecker, I think). Tastes like chicken. Very lean, high-strung chicken.

I went hiking at Bon Echo Provincial Park last weekend but as most of my pictures are of my friends and I, here's a squirrel. I wish I'd taken a picture of the racoon that kept creeping up on us while we were around the fire but sadly it was obscenely dark. Oh well.

I went for a walk around Kempenfelt Bay yesterday in Barrie, Ontario, and along with the many waterfowl I found this little guy popping in and out of rocks all around where I was sitting by the edge of the water. I couldn't help but smile, such a cute creature!

Went for a short hike today at Nottawasaga Lookout and found this little guy hoping around. I think it's an American Toad (Anaxyrus americanus). He looks grumpy but I'm sure we was happy to see me, I'm such a charming fellow!
