A mentally ill man, Mohammed el Hibali, 22, was murdered by the Israeli Occupation Forces Tuesday morning in Tulkarum. Hibali was sweeping in front of a bakery when a soldier gunned him down for no reason. He was shot in the head and pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Residents said that he had the mind of an 8 year old and people would give him work to keep him off the streets. There was a protest today against the increasing illegal settler violence in Al-Mughayyir. The village has been attacked by settlers 4 times this week. They’ve destroyed olive trees, slashed car tires, and spray painted “price tags and revenge” on buildings. The people of the village did the Friday prayers in the fields near the village and the Israeli Occupation Forces showed up and fired tear gas and rubber bullets at the crowd. 25 people were injured by tear gas and I was shot with a rubber bullet. IN THE WEST BANK VILLAGE OF RAS KAR KAR, THE WEEKLY PRAYS AND PROTEST TURNED VIOLENT WHEN THE ISRAELI OCCUPYING FORCES OPENED FIRE WITH RUBBER BULLETS, STUN GRENADES, AND TEAR GAS ON THE CROWD AFTER JUMBA. ACCORDING TO SOURCES, THREE PEOPLE WERE DETAINED AND SEVERAL PEOPLE INJURED. ONE OF THE INJURED WAS A RED CRESCENT AMBULANCE DRIVER.
