Inktober Day 13: Rise
Pairing: John Kramer x Reader
SFW
(Give me fluff or give me death)
"Mm... Nm..." Your eyes open to the glint of the sun shining through. The light bathes your room in a warm glow. You stretch in bed, yawning to feel more awake. "John, you forgot to close the curtains before bed again. John?" You look to your side, realizing that he isn't in bed with you. Your brows furrow in confusion as you call out to him again.
"It's alright, dear, I'm here," John shuffles into the room. His robe is wrapped around his body, and he still wears his bed clothes. He slides into your side of bed, encasing you in his arms. "How did you sleep?"
"Fine enough. I missed you," you mumble, twisting over to pull him closer. Your hands reach his cheeks, stroking his stubble with your fingertips. Leaning in, you press your lips to his in a kiss. After a moment, you do another, then another, until you've peppered his face with kisses.
John chuckles, kissing you back in response. His long fingers trace down your spine as he holds you, causing you to shiver. "Missed me? I was only gone for a moment," there's a hint of amusement as he speaks, hie voice husky and deep from waking up. His lips trail from yours, to your cheek, before finally resting on your neck.
"I miss you every time I don't see you. If I could, I'd stay with you all day," you whisper to him sleepily, his scent and embrace relaxing you. Your fingers run through his hair as he places a chaste kiss to your throat. "Where were you, anyway? Usually we cuddle in the morning."
"I was making you some breakfast. I know you've been having a hard time lately, so I wanted to surprise you with breakfast in bed. Now, sit up, and I'll bring it in," John untangles himself from you, getting up. He leaves for a moment before coming back with a tray of waffles, berries, and eggs. He sits it in your lap, sitting next to you again.
"Aw, that's really sweet... Thanks, John. I needed something like this," you smile in appreciation, digging into the food. You eat and when you're finished, the two of you cuddle in bed, enjoying a lazy morning.

Inktober Day 11: Wander
Pairing: John Kramer x Reader
SFW Fluff
(My mom is in the fudging hospital so fuck it we (fluff)ball)
"John. John?" Your voice was the only sound in the warehouse beyond the tinkering of John with his traps. Standing behind him, you attempt to get his attention, sometimes an impossible task. With a sigh, you wrap your arms around him from behind as he hammers away on a piece of metal, resting your chin on his shoulder. "Johnnnn."
The whine of your voice accompanied by your touch seems to snap him out of his trance. He sets his tools down, turning to you. "Yes, dear? What is it?" He asks gently, his hand reaching up so he could stroke your cheek with his thumb. He looked tired and distracted, but always willing to give you his attention.
"You promised that we would go on a date today, remember? It's my choice this time," you remind him, looking up at John. You lean into his touch, feeling each soft movement of his thumb.
"Right, right. I apologize. Let me just finish this one detail, and we'll go wherever you want. Does that sound fair?" His eyes crinkle slightly as he smiles, a look he only reserved for you. As you nod, he presses a kiss to your forehead before turning back to his work.
Once finished, he allows you to take his hand and lead him to the exit of the warehouse. "Right, where are we going tonight? Out to dinner?"
"Dinner?" You pause, tilting your head at him. Confusion gives way to amusement as you laugh, opening the door to the outside. Rays of sunshine filtered in, causing John to squint. "It's morning, silly. Did you seriously work all night again without realizing it?"
"Ah, I suppose that's why I feel so tired," John murmered quietly to himself, raising his hand to shield his eyes. He didn't look too surprised. After all, this has happened many times. Exiting the building, he turned to you. "So, breakfast?"
"Yeah! My favorite pancake place has a new flavor, but I waited until you could come with me," the cheer on your face seemed to light up your boyfriends eyes better than the sun. You dragged him to the bus, ready to spend the whole day with him.
The two of you got breakfast and walked around your favorite shops before ending up at the park. You walked down the pathes aimlessly, confusing John.
"Where are we going?" He asked, following you nonetheless. The pathes from the park lead into the woods, winding around the flourishing trees and flowers.
"I don't know, I'm just kind of wandering and seeing where we end up. It's nice to just go with things sometimes," you respond with a shrug, taking his hand and tangling your fingers in his.
John couldn't really relate to this. He was a very precise man, planning everything down to the letter. However, you seemed to be enjoying yourself, so he squeezed your hand and followed.
The two of you wander around the path, seeing all sorts of trees and plants. Birds chirp from all directions, and the morning still has that crisp feeling. You talk about anything and everything while he listens and enjoys your presence.
After a while, you lay a blanket down to rest and cuddle. He wraps you in his arms, pulling you close to his chest, and within seconds he falls fast asleep.
Shifting so that you're comfortable as well, embracing him back. There's a feeling of safety as the two of you cuddle in the forest, resting from a long night.

Sawtober Day 9: Mask
Pairing: John Kramer x reader
NSFW (blood, trap stuff, it's Saw I mean come on)
(This is part 2 to my other one. I didn't realize there was a Sawtober thing so now I'm switching to it.)
“A game?” You whisper, walking towards the speaker. No wires are connected to it as if it was simply placed there without much care. You pick it up in your hands, turning the piece of cheap plastic over in your fingers. Pulling it closer, you bring it up to your ear, attempting to hear the voice better. When it doesn't speak again, your brows furrow in frustration.
You're left alone in that dark room for quite some time. The one exit is sealed shut, and there seems to be nothing else that can get you out. You sit there for what feels like an hour before a sudden click can be heard.
Looking up towards the noise, you notice a projector mounted to the ceiling. It sparks to life, the light from it shining on the wall before you. A video begins to play, casting a horrible scene before your eyes. "What the...?"
In front of you, the projector displays a video of a room. Inside, a man is lying on the ground. You assume it's Ben because of the clothes he's wearing, but it's hard to tell due to the mask on his face. While the footage is fuzzy, you can see that the mask is made out of a thick plastic with a smiley face painted on the front. There are two eye holes, showing Ben's eyes.
Once he begins to stir, Ben sits up with a groan. He looks around, attempting to pull the strange mask off his face. He winces when it doesn't come off, staying in place despite his attempts. Ben tries to shout, but it's as if the mask is keeping his lips closed. Only some muffled yells escape the man.
You watch as he wanders around the room he's trapped in, looking for some kind of exit or a way to get the mask off his face. He pauses for a moment, and you can see something dangling from the ceiling. It was hard to tell what it was from the fuzzy feed, but he grabbed it and clicked a button. A tape began to play from what you now know was a tape recorder.
"Hello, Ben. For the past five years, you have worked for a noble cause. Eight hours a day, five days a week, you clean the homes of the sick and elderly. From an outward appearance, you act caring and friendly to all those around you, but I know your secret. In the shadows, you steal from these people, taking precious items from those who have already lost so much. Deep down, you are a selfish person, using that friendly mask of yours to get what you want. Well, Ben, I want to play a game," the raspy voice spoke from the voice recorder, having the same sound as the voice from your speaker.
"You'll notice the mask superglued to your skin. This represents the friendly act you put up to steal from the most vulnerable of society. In your mouth is a bomb that will go off in approximately sixty seconds. To save your life, you will have to rip away your fake mask to stop the bomb from killing you. Live or die, the choice is yours," the voice finishes, the tape recorder turning off.
Ben panics, looking around wildly for any sort of escape. It sounds like he's attempting to beg, but no sounds can escape from the mask. After the timer starts, he runs around the room, looking for any kind of exit. He finds none, resorting to trying to break the mask. He smacks his face over and over again into the hard concrete, clawing and trying to break a hole over his mouth. It doesn't work, the plastic being too strong.
With thirty seconds on the clock, he grips each end of the mask and begins to pull. Muffled screams can be heard as he attempts to pull it away, his skin ripping from his face. Trying to peel it from the top down, he tears his flesh off, blood pooling from the open wounds. Each yank makes a sickening squelshing noise, bone, and muscle open to the outside elements.
Halfway down, he only has ten seconds left. He wrenches the mask down, exposing the mess of gore underneath. The cartilage in his nose is showing, and a horrific scream is released as it tears off his lips. With one more pull, the mask is off. Blood soaks through his clothes, drenching his skin. While some tiny patches were in tact, the flesh from his face had been ripped off. Chunks of muscle dangle from the piece of plastic, matted with the skin and flesh that coated the inside.
Ben spits the bomb from his mouth, kicking it away with only seconds left. He shields himself as it explodes from the corner, taking out some boxes and loose materials. He lay on the ground, sobbing in agony as his body shakes from pure adrenaline.
"Congradulations. You've torn away the mask that hides your real self. Only now can you face the world and be grateful for what you can really do," a voice speaks in his room, but he doesn't seem to notice. The projector suddenly turns off, leaving you in darkness again.

Inktober Day 7: Drip
Pairing: John Kramer x Reader
SFW
(This is the edited version because I changed the direction of my story)
"Come on, there's no one here. Let's just take a quick look," your boyfriend of six months, Sam, encouraged you and your friends to step through the gap in the chain-link fence. The abandoned warehouse towers over your entire group, covering the moon and casting a dark shadow on the land around you.
"I don't know about this, guys. What if we get caught? There have to be cameras or something around the property. I mean, it's not like we're the first ones to try this," Emma, your best friend raised her concern to the group. It was mainly met with eye rolls and a couple of groans.
"You gotta be kidding me. It's just an old warehouse. Wait, are you scared that it's haunted or something?" The bad boy of the group, Eric, snickered slightly. He wrapped an arm around Emma, mocking a ghostly moan. "Woooo I'm the ghost of of a warehouse worker named Bob! I'm going to bore you to death by talking about my kids and my erectile disfunction!"
"Knock it off, Eric. It's fine for people to be freaked out with this kind of thing. I mean, it's pretty dark out," Ben gently pulled Eric away from Emma, his brows slightly furrowed in concern.
"It's Halloween night! What's better than going to a creepy, abandoned building? Who knows, we coulf find a body or something," Sam replied with a smirk. He looked at you, a grin on his freckled face. "Besides, (Y/n) is pretty good at this urban exploring stuff, right?"
"Well, I've only done it once before. It's not like I'm an expert," you awkwardly attempt to explain to your friends, rubbing the chills from your arms. "We should just be careful. If it seems dangerous, we'll just leave. Besides, I'm sure an old building like this has interesting history."
"Yeah yeah, we don't need a history lesson. Let's just get inside. It's gonna start raining soon," Eric pushed his way past you and Sam, crawling under the gap in the fence. One by one each person slipped through, making it to the imposing warehouse before them.
"Wait, there's no lock?" Emma said in a surprised tone as the group gathered in front of the large doors. It was clear that it had been chained up before, but not right now. "We should head back, someone might be in there."
"No chance. There's not a single car around and the front gate is still chained up. Maybe the last people who snuck in left it unlocked. Let's go," Sam pulled the door open without questioning, waiting for everyone to enter the warehouse.
As you enter, you catch the sign nailed to the outside wall. DO NOT ENTER is printed out on the metal shape, years of wear leaving it covered in rust. Your instincts tell you one thing, but your curiosity wins out in the end. You enter the warehouse, watching Sam shut the door behind you.
'Damn, it's dark in here. Stick close, guys," Ben pulled out his phone, turning on the flashlight and shining it across the room. It doesn't look very special, with worn furniture scattered across the room and rusted tools on the floor. The rafters creek on their own and a dripping sound can be heard in the distance. "I was expecting it to be more... Terrifying."
"Well, maybe this is just a front. Who knows, there might still be some stuff hidden around here. Let's look around," you suggest, looking over every detail. The group stays close together, checking each room. Most of it was empty, having been cleared out when the warehouse was shut down. As you continued, the dripping noise got louder and louder.
"Woah, look at this," Ben speaks up after shining his flashlight to the right. The light hits a large metal door. It was solid and heavy, almost like the entrance to a vault. Ben approached it first, pressing his ear to the metal. "I think I hear that dripping coming from in here."
"Now you're talking. Move, I'll get it open," Eric rolled up his sleeves and grabbed the handle. He pulled with all of his strength, expecting it to be locked. However, the door swings open, sending him to the ground with a thud.
"Are you ok?" Emma rushes to Eric's side, kneeling to check him over. Her lips purse in concern when she sees a scratch on his arm. "That looked like it hurt. Hold still, I have a bandaid."
While Emma tended to Eric, you, Sam, and Ben approached the large door. Glancing inside, the room was empty, but far cleaner than any of the place in the warehouse. You step inside, hearing the dripping coming from the ceiling. Liquid would form on the surface before dripping down to the floor below.
"That's weird, this is too dark to be water," you mumble to yourself as you step inside the room, holding out your hand. After catching a drop, you gaze down at the substance. It looks to be red, and a strong smell of iron hits your senses.
Suddenly, the metal door slams shut, locking behind you. You whirl around, panicking as you bang your fists on the door. "Guys?! This isn't funny! Let me out!" You yelled, trying to twist the handle. From the other side, you can hear small dull thuds and yelps, before an overwhelming silence hits. "Guys...?"
No one responds to the sound of your voice. You stand there in silence, thoughts racing. Just when you think that this is some messed up dream, you hear a voice from the corner of the room. A speaker sits on the ground, a raspy voice muttering through it.
"Hello (Y/n), I want to play a game."

Inktober Day 6: Golden
Pairing: John Kramer x Reader
Sfw
(I want to do bloody stuff but at the same time I've been desperate for comfort stuff, so here's some sweetness)
The golden hour. The time just after sunrise or before sunset when light is infused with red and gold tones. There was something so soft about this time of day, so distant from the hell that reality really was. When the room was bathed in golden light, and the world was silent, if only for a moment.
As the sun began to rise, you stepped out of your room. The sun shown softly through the windows of the old warehouse, through the rafters and just touching the concrete floor. Your slippers made a soft padding noise as you made your way to that familiar workshop.
John sat at his desk, as always he was tinkering away at his next game. Planning everything down to the last detail, leaving no room for error. He didn't notice your arrival, too caught up in his own work.
"Darling," you call out to him, standing behind his chair. Resting your hands on his shoulders, you begin to massage them gently. A loving touch that was sure to break the man out of his trance. "Did you work all night again?"
"Indeed I did," John spoke after a moment of thought, glancing to the clock on his right. It was now 6am, much later than he had planned being up. His tired eyes squint in the morning sun, as if just recognizing the solar rays. "I'm sorry, dear. I got caught up with work."
"Come on now, stand up. Did you take your pills?" You watch John shake his head, making you sigh. You help him out of his chair and up into the light. Your arms wrap around him, and your head is on his shoulder. For a moment, the two of you stop, just embracing each other in the morning light. "I'm worried about you. Your health is bad enough as it is. You need to take care of yourself"
"I know. Don't worry. It will all work out the way it should. I promise," John's raspy voice mumbled into your hair as he pressed a kiss to your head. He holds you in a soft hug, not having the energy to do much more. His fingers run through your hair gently, treating you like you're delicate, made of porcelain. "You know I love you, right?"
"I know. I love you too. I always will," a smile appears on his face as you say this. Pulling back slightly, you press your lips to his in a kiss. The two of you stand under the golden light, sharing an intimate moment before life must continue on, no matter how hard.

Inktober Day 5: Maps
Pairing: John Kramer x Reader
SFW
(This is just a warm-up for inktober. Nothing really romantic or heavy happens. It's just really short fluff. I missed a bunch of days :')
Camping seemed like the best idea in the world at the time. You were tired from long hours at your desk job, so when a three day weekend came up, you jumped at the opportunity. There was a national park not too far from your house, hosting multiple camp sites where you could laze your day away in the sun. As soon as you got home from work, you packed everything up and set off for the weekend.
It started great. You set up your tent, a place to cook your meals, and kept your car nearby just in case. This camp spot was far away from other cities or towns, meaning that you had little to no signal. This seemed like a great way to detach yourself from the burdens of modern life. With a map by your side and a compass on hand, you set off into the woods, searching for a very popular swimming hole in the area.
It was a surprise to see the swimming hole completely empty, but it wasn't as if you were complaining. The water was warm and rich with minerals, making it a popular tourist spot. Already clad in your swimsuit, you set your things down before sinking into the water.
A few moments later, you hear the bushes to your right rustle slightly. A man steps out of them, a man much older than you. His white hair is receding slightly, showing off the wrinkles of his forehead. His face is thin, and his eyes give off a cold, blue color. He makes his way to the swimming hole, dipping his fingers into the water.
"Mind if I join you?" You hear him ask, his voice raspy in an attractive kind of way. He waited for any kind of permission, not wanting to disturb you.
"Oh! Of course, sure," you move over slightly to give him room, watching as the man climbs into the water. His body visibly reacts to its warmth as he involuntarily lets of a sigh of relief. You can't help but glance at him from time to time. "I'm (Y/n) by the way."
"John. A pleasure to meet you," he speaks quietly. While his eyes were distant, he didn't seem to mind your company. He leans his head back, glancing up at the sky as if he's lost in thought. "It's a beautiful day today."
"It is. I've been waiting to go out camping for a while. It really is relaxing," you agree with him, continuing to settle into the warm water. For a while, the two of you sit in silence, merely enjoying the presence of another person. You know not to trust strangers, but there was something about him that caught your curiosity. "Would you want to join me for dinner? I'm going back to my camp after this."
"I would like that," John responds easily, as if he could feel that question coming. He turns back to look at your eyes, raising an eyebrow curiously. "But aren't you nervous? I'm a strange man, afterall. I could be a serial killer, or worse."
"I mean, you could be. Or you could a person who wants some company," you shrug your shoulders in response. While his eyes were intense, you didn't expect that he could do much against you. He didn't exactly look tough, and you were no stranger to danger. "I don't know. I just get the feeling you could use a friend."
John paused at this before slowly nodding. He stood out of the water, holding a hand out to help you up as well. From the corner of your eye you night have even caught a small smile on his face. "Then let's go. Do you know the way?"
"No but I have my-" you reach to pull out your map before discovering that you had left it in your pocket. The soggy paper was illegible in the pool, having no markings left. "Shit."
"Shit."
